GARBERVILLE ~~ RINA'S MANSION
Rina was sitting on the couch holding a glass of blood in her hand.
She smiled and laughed.
"That stupid werewolf must be dead by now!" She said and laughed again.
The door went open and before she could turn, the vampire sped to her holding her up by the neck. The glass she was holding fell to the ground.
"L....Lucian!" She stuttered as she felt air leaving her.
"How dare you order the people with my name to kill Ava?!!!" He roared.
"She's going to kill you Lucian, don't you get that?!!!" She yelled and he threw her to the wall but she did a flip standing straight.
"You and I know that when she finds out what your past self did, she'll kill you. She's thé fàted lunã Lucian!!!" Rina yelled and he stared at her with an unreadable expression.
"I can handle myself Rina!"
"You can't!!!!" She yelled.
"And who the hell are you to say that?!!!" He snapped.
"Your childhood friend. We've been friends since childhood Lucian. I know you better than anyone!"
"Then I guess you don't know me!" He said and her eyes widened.
"If you try this stunt again, I will kill you Rina! I'm letting you go this time around but the next time you do something stupid like this, I'mma end you.!" He said and before she could reply he sped out of there.
"Arghhhhh!!!!!!" She yelled and kicked the table angrily.
ETERNAL SHADOWS ~~ CASTLE
"Ouch!!!" Ava yelled as a rock hit her forehead.
"How do you expect me to dodge all the rocks you throw at me very quickly?!!!" She asked rubbing her forehead.
"You are....." She stopped talking making Ava arch a brow.
"You are meant to be fast. The werewolves I knew were faster than you. Try to be like them!" Gorya said and Ava scoffed.
"That's their business. I'm me...Ava Delmundo. I'm not them Gorya!" She said walking out of the garden.
She went to the clean river at a particular side of the castle and she sat staring intently at the river.
"Am not them, why do they have to compare me with other werewolves?!" She muttered staring at herself in the water.
She inhaled and closed her eyes before opening them. She saw a strange woman as her reflection instead and she gasped moving backwards.
"The fvvk!!!!" She said and moved close to the water again staring at herself but this time it was her reflection.
"I must be hallucinating!" She muttered before backing the castle.
She hugged her knees to her chest as she thought of her parents.
"I thought you were supposed to be training!" Lucian asked and she looked at him before scoffing.
"I don't want to train anymore!" She said looking back at her toes.
"Then go inside!" He said and she looked up at him.
"I'm not going into that boring house! You get to go out, why can't I?" She said and asked looking up at him.
"You want to go out?" He asked and she nodded smiling.
"Then train hard, if I see you're doing well, we'll explore this night!" He said and her eyes widened.
She stood and ran back to the garden. She met Gorya sitting on the grass with a small smile on her face. When she saw Ava, she stood up.
"You're back?"
"Yeah! Bring it on!" She said with a smile.
Gorya picked up a lot of rocks and then she began throwing them at her speedily.
Ava kept dodging, she did a back flip dodging the last one.
"You did it!" Gorya said and Ava smiled happily.
"Now try to dodge my attacks!" Gorya said and Ava's eyes widened.
"You say?" She asked shockingly but Gorya already sped to her back slashing her.
She winced staggering forward. She turned back and glared at Gorya.
"Your ears are supposed to be your sharpest organ. Utilize that instead of focusing on only seeing me!" Gorya said and started super speeding.
Ava inhaled and exhaled before focusing on her ear. She felt someone behind her and she squatted before punching Gorya hard.
Gorya staggered and smiled.
"You're learning quickly!" She said with a smile.
"Thanks to you!" Ava said and smiled.
"Go and rest, we'll continue tomorrow!" Gorya said and Ava smiled.
"Thanks again!" She said and Gorya super sped back to the kitchen.
Sensing someone behind her, Ava turned immediately.
"Did I do well?!!!" She asked brightly.
"Yes! Tonight we'll explore!" He said with a straight face and sped off.
"Yesssss!!!!!!!!" She screamed doing two back flips.
She ran back into the house and went to the room. Lucian wasn't in the room so she went to the study room. She met him reading a book and she smiled going further into the room..
She went to the shelf and picked a book titled "Opposite Attraction by Authoress Vera", she smiled and sat on the chair opposite him opening the book.
She began reading.
Stealthily, she took a sneak peek of his face and she smiled. His perfect jawline, his pointed nose and then his lips.
'He's an enemy! Stop admiring him!' Her subconscious mind yelled and she scoffed facing the book she was reading.
"The wedding is happening in two days time!" He said and her eyes widened.
"What?!!!!!" She yelled and he looked up at her.
"You agreed to it!"
"I thought you just wanted to lie to your mum and now that she's gone, it won't even matter!!" She said.
"You signed the document with your blood Ava. There's no way out!" He said and she stood.
"This is so not fair!" She said and left the room.
He shook his head and looked at the history book he was reading. It was about a vampire and a werewolf in love. Their story didn't end well and then he closed the book having some thoughts rushing through his mind.
REDWOOD FOREST ~~ CALIFORNIA
Luciana frowned deeply.
"This is all your fault!!!" She yelled and his eyes widened.
"I know she loved him which was not right but she is your daughter, you weren't supposed to just banish her like that.!!" She yelled and he pinched his brows.
"Look, I'm sorry okay but rules are rules! If she breaks the rules, I'm supposed to punish her for it" He said.
"They're many ways to punish her for it Lucas. Manyyyyy!!!" She yelled again and he groaned.
"What is done is done, all I need to do now is to find her and bring her back to the clan where she'd be safe.!" He said.
"Good luck finding her!" She said and left the room angrily.
He scoffed before sitting on his bed.
'I shouldn't have banished her!' He mumbled looking at the quarter moon sitting on the sky.
NIGHT ~~
Ava was laying on the bed crying gently.
"I can't get married to him, I don't love him!" She said and sniffed.
The door opened and she covered her face with the duvet.
"Are we exploring or not?" He asked and she ignored him.
"Get dressed Ava!" He said but she ignored him
He sped to her and carried her.
"Let me go!!" She struggled yelling.
He sped out of the castle and out of Garberville. He stopped in front of the city and she pushed him off.
"What's your problem?" She asked angrily.
"You don't want to marry me, so I'm giving you the freedom you're looking for!" He said and her eyes widened.
"I'll leave so you'd go back to your clan but don't return to the castle or Garberville!" He said.
"This is not exploring!" She said wiping her tears.
"Go to your clan Ava!" He said and she bit her lips.
"I....."
'I get your father loves you and all but why would he banish you just because you chose to love a human??? You want to go back even after he threatened that he'd kill you if you come back, huh Ava?!!!' Her subconscious mind yelled at her and she started crying again.
"You're so annoying!!!" She said to him before sniffing.
"I don't want to go back. A deal is a deal!" She muttered wiping her tears.
He looked at her for a while.
"You sure about this?" He asked and she nodded with a smile.
"Your choice!" He mumbled.
"Now that we're in the city, why don't we do the exploring?" She asked and he frowned.
"No! Humans can be very overwhelming and you know it!" He said.
"They won't know. Please!!!!!" She clasped her palms together and he just ignored her walking into the city.
She frowned and ran to him jumping on his back. He stood on his spot with wide eyes.
"What are you doing?" He asked.
"Since you want to act rude then I'm acting stubborn!" She said.
He rolled his eyes and kept moving. She rested her jaw on his shoulder looking at the side view of his face.
"Why are you always frowning?" She asked.
"I've seen no reason to smile!"
"What about Rina? She's your friend and all!"
"She is but she can't make me smile anymore.!" He said.
"What....."
"Stop asking me that question!" He snapped and she pouted.
He used his side eye to look at her and she giggled. He scoffed looking around, people were walking about, some were still selling things.
"I have a house here, do you wanna see?" She asked.
"No!" He said and walked past some few guys.
Ava looked back slowly and saw them staring at her. She faced front immediately.
"I don't like the stares they're giving us!" She whispered.
She felt them following them and she began panicking.
"Lucian!" She whispered his name.
"Chill would you?!" He snapped and she sighed before relaxing.
They walked out of the busy street and more boys appeared in their front with different weapons.
"Is she the one?" A guy asked and the one beside him nodded.
"According to boss, that's her!" He said and they smirked before running to them.
"You ready to fight them?" He asked and she gasped.
"You wanna leave me alone to fight them?!!!" She asked.
"Yeah. You can do it!" He said and she exhaled before jumping down his back.
He sped to a far away distance and they laughed.
"He left you!"
"Killing you would be easy!"
"Don't underestimate her! Boss said we shouldn't underestimate her!"
"Would y'all stop yapping and come after me?!!" Ava asked and they all ran after her at once.
She began fist fighting with them. She felt a metal coming towards her and she did a back flip landing behind him so he stabbed his fellow guy.
"Shit!!!"
"Am so sorry!" Ava said and the rest faced her.
They launched at her again and she fought them effortlessly.
A gun shot was fired and she dodged before giving him a kick to the jaw. She punched one on the jaw and she kneed some on their members.
It was left with only one guy, the one who said they shouldn't underestimate her.
"Y'all are monsters, killing humans for joy!!" He said.
"We only kill if we're being attacked!" She said and he laughed.
"I wish!" He said and ran towards her trying to slash her with his knife. She dodged and kicked the knife out of his hand.
He tried punching her but she caught his hand and she gasped.
He smirked and pulled the second knife he was holding out of her tummy.
She moved back blood staining her lips.
This was the exact spot Thomas stabbed her. Her heart ached and her subconscious mind took over. Her eyes turned golden and she punched him hard on the face.
She kicked him and he flew back. He stood and coughed out blood. She rushed fast to him and held him up by the neck.
"Who are you?!!!" She growled.
"I won't tell you!" He said and she smirked opening her mouth, her fangs came out and he hiccuped.
'Is she going to bite me?!' He thought and she heard him.
"Maybe!" She said and his eyes widened. She looked intently into his eyes trying to read his mind.
"You're working for someone. Deliver a message to him, tell him I'm coming for him once I heal. He will die just like his father!" She growled and his eyes widened.
She threw him away and he ran off. He kept falling at different intervals but he didn't stop running.
He was scared, fvvking scared!!
She went back to normal and she knelt on the ground tears filling her eyes.
Lucian smiled. When he realized he was still smiling, he frowned before speeding to her front but she didn't look up.
"You did well!" He said and she sniffed.
He pulled her up by the arm and she stared at him.
"I loved him!" She said tears rolling down her eyes.
He did one thing he never intended on doing, he pulled her into a warm hug and she wept on his chest.
He patted her hair and muttered.
"Trusting humans is bullshit Ava!!!"
