Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: A Day Like Any Other.

Matthew looked at Aether's holographic projection in front of him, which displayed detailed graphs and reports on the beta's progress. He crossed his arms, satisfied with the initial results.

"Aether, these numbers are promising. Ten hours online per day... players are really immersed," he commented proudly.

The artificial intelligence adjusted the hologram to display detailed statistics on user playtime and interactions. "Yes, sir. The retention rate is over 85%, which indicates that the experience is meeting expectations."

Matthew looked at the graph and smiled slightly. "With all the security and layers of advanced coding, no one will be able to copy anything. What about social networks? Are players talking about the game?"

Aether adjusted the hologram again, showing a social media feed and comments on specialized gaming forums. "Yes, sir. There is constant engagement. Hashtags related to the game are already trending, and general interest is growing. The initial video of the God Emperor generated many theories, and the introduction of the 'divine children' aroused a lot of curiosity."

Mateus laughed, satisfied. "The marketing is practically doing itself. They will be fascinated by the plot and the world."

Aether continued with the analysis. "The design of the game, by being reduced to 97% accessibility for players, makes it impossible for copies and leaks of detailed information. So far, not even the most experienced players have been able to explore all the content, which contributes to the atmosphere of mystery and exclusivity."

Mateus nodded thoughtfully. "That's exactly the idea. This universe is supposed to be a unique experience, where players can't predict every detail. I want them to feel like they are exploring something truly new."

After a few seconds of silence, Matthew asked, "What about direct feedback from players? Are they satisfied with the mechanics and gameplay?"

Aether displayed a user satisfaction chart. "So far, 93% of players have said they are satisfied or extremely satisfied with the gameplay and graphical quality. They have particularly mentioned the fluidity of combat and the depth of interactions with NPCs. The immersive narrative and complexity of the divine factions are also being praised."

Matthew smiled. "Great. I want you to keep monitoring it closely. And let the NeuroPlay team know to get ready. If the official launch maintains this level of engagement, the game will redefine the MMORPG market."

Aether nodded, registering the instruction. "I'll have everything ready, sir. The team will be constantly updating the data to optimize the player experience."

Matthew looked at the hologram with approval. "Perfect, Aether. Let's redefine immersion."

"So...how's the game going?" Selene commented, adjusting herself in Mateus' arms.

"It's going great, dear," Mateus replied, looking away from the movie and toward her.

"Hmm, better than me...The directors and shareholders are giving me a hard time about the sustainable niches proposal I proposed," Selene muttered frustratedly.

"Well, I told you about the partnership I proposed between Montavon Corp and NeuroSys for a more in-depth discussion on these issues," Mateus commented, smiling.

"This partnership that would give 99% of the profits to Montavon? No way," she sighed at the audacity of this subject.

Mateus let out a low laugh, aware of Selene's resistance to the subject. He pulled her a little closer, adjusting her in his embrace.

"You know I'm just messing with the 99%," he replied with a smile. "But I truly believe we can do something impactful together. Sustainability is a key trend, and NeuroSys can provide the technologies to make this more achievable."

Selene, resting her head on his shoulder, sighed deeply. "It's easy to say, but not so easy to convince the board. They think that focusing on sustainable products now could affect our profits. It's a constant struggle."

Matthew raised an eyebrow thoughtfully. "Let me help you put together an impact case. NeuroSys can provide data on how sustainable practices generate long-term value. Montavon Corp. has strength in the fashion and luxury market, but imagine the market potential if we were also seen as leaders in sustainability."

Selene looked at him with a sparkle in her eyes, absorbing his words. "It could be interesting, Matthew. You know, my mother wants me to go in that direction, but at the same time, she believes that maintaining the exclusive and high-end style is the main focus."

"That's totally possible," he replied excitedly. "Imagine launching an exclusive line with innovative and environmentally friendly materials, while still preserving the prestige and exclusivity of the Montavon brand. NeuroSys technology can provide this, ensuring that each piece is a landmark of innovation."

She laughed, finally relaxing. "When you say it like that, it sounds easy. Maybe it's good to have a strategist by my side."

Mateus pulled her closer, placing a kiss on her forehead. "We're in this together, Selene. Your potential is as great as your company's, and with NeuroSys by your side, we'll turn this vision into reality."

Selene snuggled closer into Mateus's arms, her expression mixing determination with a touch of softness. "You can always see the potential, even where no one else can. It's as if it's easy for you to see beyond barriers."

Mateus stroked her hair, absorbing the comfort of that closeness. "You know, Selene, growing up in business has taught me that barriers are temporary. What matters is how we overcome each one of them. And you are someone who has that strength, you just need others to see it too."

She smiled, feeling the confidence in his words. "So, Mr. Strategist, what else do you think would be needed to convince the board?"

Mateus tilted his head thoughtfully. "We will need a presentation with solid data, something that goes beyond the sustainability speech. We need long-term projections, indicators of conscious consumption, and perhaps even a practical example of positive impact. If we can develop a pilot product with NeuroSys technology and a sustainable seal, I think that could really capture their attention."

Selene bit her lip, already visualizing the idea. "A pilot product… that could work. Something that shows the exclusivity of Montavon and the innovation of NeuroSys."

Mateus nodded. "Exactly. A limited line, perhaps an accessory or a piece of clothing. Something that makes consumers feel like they're buying not just a product, but a new concept in sustainable luxury."

Selene looked up at him, a glint of excitement in her eyes. "You've really convinced me. Let's make this happen, Matthew."

He smiled, satisfied. "Now that's the determined Selene I know."

She laughed and lightly slapped his arm playfully. "So, you know me well now?"

Mateus replied with a teasing smile. "Well enough to know that you're going to make this project a success. And that you won't rest until you see the results."

Selene was silent for a moment, enjoying that moment by his side. "You know, Mateus, sometimes I feel like this project is more than just a professional goal. It's like it's a part of who I am and what I want to leave for the world."

He hugged her a little tighter. "And that's exactly why it's going to work, Selene. We're going to show the world that it's possible to redefine luxury in a conscious and impactful way."

As they snuggled back into the couch, ready to resume the movie, Mateus gave her one last look, filled with pride and admiration. He knew that this was just the first of many achievements they would achieve together.
