Ow. Fuck, that hurt.
I was currently lying on my back. The spar had ended a few minutes ago.
It ended as it always did. With me losing. But at least this time, I finally did it.
"Haa. You crazy bastard." I heard a voice saying to me. I turned to look, it was Reinhardt.
He sat down next me and sighed. "Man, this isn't the kind of damage an [F] rank should be causing.
I looked around the training room. And man. It was in shambles. Although the technology used to create this place would probably fix it back.
The training rooms were basically a large facility that was part of the training grounds. Just more private and sturdier.
It's where the [B] ranks and above train. It's also reserved for the members of House Morningstar as well.
"Here". Reinhardt's voice snapped me out of my reverie. I looked up to see him handing me something. A can of water.
"Thanks". Saying so, I took it from his hands and drank. Haaa. Refreshing.
"You've improved so much during these last few months, Lucas."
Yeah, I'm I have. Even my status says so. Oh right, it's been a while since I checked my status. I then thought out 'Status'

Hoh. I had certainly improved, but not to the extent I'd have liked. Preferably I would've liked to be at least [E-] or at least have one of my stats in that range.
Oh well.
I guess I should start heading to my room for the final preparations to leave tonight.
As I stood up, Reinhardt spoke, "Where do you plan on heading to?"
I froze. Huh?. What does he mean by that? Does he know? No it can't be. I was careful. And cautious. I never made it obvious that I was planning on sneaking out of here.
No no no. Just act natural. I replied while trying to hide the nervous trembling in my voice.
"To my room of course. Where else would I be going?". I said and started walking away.
"Arnolds knows you know." He said aloud. What!. He knows. Shit. But if he knows why hasn't he tried to-.
Oh right. He doesn't give a shit. But just to clarify. I asked Reinhardt. "So why hasn't he made an attempt to stop me? Or better still why haven't you made an attempt to stop me?"
I said, anger and hurt slipping into my emotions.
Reinhardt's expression turned guilt ridden. "Because I believe that this place is holding you back. You're more than you know."
"Well, I don't believe you. And if that's your reason, what's dad's. Or what, does he believe this place is holding me back too?"
He kept quiet. I just smirked and said, "Yeah, I thought so too?"
I then went outside and banged the door hard.
**********
Thump
I jumped on my bed. Man what a mess. Synchronizing with this body was a terrible idea.
What happened at the training room, the emotions I felt and couldn't hold back?. They were Lucas'.
Ever since synchronizing, I've been feeling Lucas' emotions. His disappointments, sadness, pain, hurt, pride, arrogance. Uhhhh. It's eating away at me.
Huuuu. Calm down. Anyway, both Reinhardt and Arnolds know. They both know, that I plan to run away.
I stood up and proceeded towards the balcony. I looked out at the city. Wolfen was bustling as always. People moving to and fro.
I rested myself on the balcony while still deep in thought on my plans now.
There was quite a lot I needed to do. I needed to register to become an adventurer.
I needed to find the truthseeker fruit, and the demon sword, Danafor.
Well I call it a sword, but it's more like a multi purpose artifact. It could become any weapon it's wielder desired.
In the novel, it was obtained by the demon king. I plan to get there first this time.
My journey was towards the west of here. To the federation and the kingdom of Sapin.
Thankfully, none of the nations in the federation were hostile to the Hayes Empire, so I had nothing to worry about.
I looked outward to the setting sun. Tonight, I would leave this place.
