Chapter 2 - Chapter Two

Grandfather hired me a tutor to be ready for school in the fall. The young lady was very sweet. She made me enjoy learning. I was fast in reading, math, and writing. She informed the Alpha that his grandson was ready to go to school. That please him very much. He handed her one thousand dollars for educating me. I surprise grandfather when I walked out of the library carrying a book that was 600 pages.

My favorite books were adventure and werewolf history. When I got done with all those books I was fond, I started to read the ins and outs of political and government for our kind. Grandpa noticed me educate myself in the arts of werewolf history. He would smirk when passing by me in library.

Grandfather hired me a personal guard to go and back from school. He was very nice man. His name is Sawyer Lincoln and around early twenties. We talked about everything. I was hoping that we would be great friends for life. We spent time together for us to feel comfortable. One day we walked to the school house, because I had to take a test to see if I was ready for school.

I walked into the room that had several different people that I did not know. I whispered to Sawyer not to leave me alone. I took a seat in front of them. I was given multiple questions to answer. As I finished up, I handed it to the principal and was going to leave when asked me why I missed the first question. I thought that I answered every one except one and that was my full name. Sawyer and I headed back to the pack house. As I walked into the foyer, I spotted everyone standing and started clapping.

Grandpa raised his hands up the crowd stopped. He came over and said, "Victor Forrest Pierce Junior. I just got off the phone with the principal of your school. They informed me that you passed with flying colors. Matter of fact, you will be starting in second grade. They said that you could be put in third but it will not benefit in your best option. So tomorrow, I will be taking a break and we are heading out to shop.
