The soft light of morning spilled through the large windows of Elion's estate. Raelynn sat at the table, absently stirring her tea. Her thoughts drifted to the secret passage she had discovered and, more importantly, the photographs she had seen.
Each image replayed in her mind like a slideshow: Elion dressed in an array of costumes, from the wild west to a spotless military outfit.
Raelynn frowned into her tea. Does Elion secretly enjoy dressing up in costumes? Or worse... does he like seeing himself in these different looks? She glanced up, her gaze landing squarely on him. At the head of the table, he drank his coffee with a calm ease, oblivious to her gaze.
Her eyes narrowed. No... he doesn't seem like a narcissist. But... he does look ridiculously good in every outfit. Her thoughts betrayed her, and her cheeks warmed. Oh, come on, Raelynn, this is not the time to admire him!
