**The Next Morning**
Abir woke up and went straight to the bathroom. After a while, when he came out, he saw Ayana sleeping. He then went to the closet, got ready, and stepped out of the room, leaving Ayana still asleep.
Adil was in his room, engrossed in some important work on his laptop, staring intently at the screen. Suddenly, a smile appeared on his face, and he said to himself, "Yes, I'm very close to my goal now." Saying this, he typed a message to someone on his phone and went back to his laptop.
Abir was standing in front of the glass wall of his cabin, his face expressionless, lost in memories.
**Flashback**
Six-year-old Abir sat in his room, staring at a photo of his mother, Sejal. It had only been two months since Sejal had passed away, and Abir felt completely alone. Madan didn't have time for him either. With his mother gone and the love of his father absent, Abir couldn't accept Madan, even if he were to show up, because Abir had seen Madan kill Sejal with someone else. Therefore, Abir began to hate Madan deeply. While studying in his room, he noticed Madan at the door with Maya by his side. Madan had come back after marrying Maya. Seeing them together made Abir's blood boil, and he clenched his fists in anger. Madan and Maya approached him and stood before him. Madan said, "Abir, son, after your mother's passing, there's no one to take care of you, and I'm busy with my business. So, I've brought you a new mother. This is Maya; she will take care of you from now on." Maya patted Abir's head and gave a crooked smile.
Maya didn't like Abir, and neither did Abir like Maya.
Abir spent the whole day lost in memories at the office. Suddenly, a notification pinged on his phone, snapping him back to reality. He picked up his phone from the table, checked the message, and smiled to himself. When he looked at the glass wall, he realized it had turned to evening.
After leaving the office, Abir went straight to his villa. He headed directly to his room! Upon entering, his steps halted suddenly. He saw Ayana still lying on the bed just as he had left her in the morning. Her clothes were still scattered on the floor, and she was fast asleep. Abir found this a bit strange, so he quickly sat on the bed and placed his hand on Ayana's forehead. A frown formed on Abir's face because Ayana had a high fever; her entire body was burning up.
Abir immediately called the doctor and then typed a message on his phone. After a short while, a servant arrived with a bowl of water and a cloth in hand. Abir gestured for him to leave.
He placed a damp cloth on Ayana's forehead and headed toward the closet. A moment later, Abir returned with Ayana's clothes and started dressing her. After putting clothes on Ayana, he laid her down gently and stepped out onto the balcony to take a drag from his cigarette.
Abir then went back into the room and sat by Ayana, watching her. Just then, a servant came to the door and said, "Sir, a doctor is here." Abir, without looking up, replied, "Send him in." After hearing this, the servant went back. A doctor then entered the room. Abir stood up and gestured for the doctor to treat Ayana.
When the doctor saw Ayana's condition, he looked at Abir in surprise.
Abir said, "Treat silently without question. If you value your life."
The doctor swallowed hard in fear and began treating Ayana. After fully attending to her, the doctor said, "I've given her an injection. It's not serious, but please take care of her for a few days because she needs rest. I've written down some medications; please get those." He handed Abir a piece of paper.
Abir replied, "There's no need to speak about this outside because if you do, your breath will stop."
The doctor swallowed again and said, "I won't tell anyone." With that, the doctor left.
Abir called a servant, handed him the piece of paper, and said, "Bring these medications quickly."
He glanced at Ayana and exited the room, heading straight to Adil's room, but he couldn't find Adil anywhere.
Abir called Adil and asked, "Where are you?"
Adil replied, "I'm out for some work; it will take time. We'll talk later," and hung up.
Abir thought for a moment and returned to his room.
