I knew that Isabella wanted to run, but I couldn't allow her to do that. Ever since I can remember, I have been in love with her, and there's no going back now.
I was happy when she got a divorce so that I could make my move. Prince Nicholas did her wrong and I hated him for it.
I wanted her to know that I cared, that with me she didn't have anything to worry about. If she needed me to show her affection, I will. All she had to do was ask because I wasn't going to force her to do anything that she didn't want to do.
"Isabella, please stop. Can we just talk without you running away?" I asked. I was hoping that she would change her mind and talk to me, but I guess that she was too shy to do that.
"It's not that simple, Kieran; I'm feeling so embarrassed. I don't know what came over me for me to ask that of you." She tried to explain but I wasn't buying it.
