After some time fighting with the horse, Dante feels the ground beginning to collapse, and both of them fall. Dante lands and starts looking around, saying, "And after that little run, let's play gladiators." He then sees the horse neighing and adds, "I'm liking this more and more!" and begins fighting again.
Finally, the horse stops in front of Dante, breathing heavily. After a moment, it begins to fall and slowly fade away. From it emerges a blue flame sphere that approaches Dante and enters his body.
After that, Dante turns around and starts to walk, but debris begins to fall from above. Before it hits him, he lifts his head and watches as all the debris stops mid-air. He starts walking again, moving the debris aside, and then sees it all crash to the ground.

Dante, after following his path, finds a massive fortified door. After managing to open it, he enters and sees his brother standing at the center, staring at the ground.
Vergil yells, "Why isn't it working?" Then, in frustration, he says, "Is something missing? Do I need to spill more blood?" Dante begins to approach and says, "You seem to be in a bad mood." Vergil turns around and prepares to draw his katana, saying, "Dante." Dante, relaxed, looks at him and says, "So... my mother's amulet is the key to open the door to the demon world." Then he adds, with irony, "Nice plan, Dad."
Vergil replies, "Actually, it's quite the opposite," explaining, "Initially, it was the key to enter the demon world, but it was given to humans as a gift." Dante turns away, saying, "I don't care one way or the other." Turning back to Vergil, he says, "What matters most is that I came all this way," and draws Rebellion, pointing it at Vergil as he says, "I'm sure you have time for one more match... don't you?"
Vergil says, "Why not? After all, we share the same blood." Then he puts away his katana and begins summoning gauntlets and boots with a white glow, saying, "I'll use more of yours to undo Dad's little spell."
Dante looks at him and says, "So you literally want a piece of me." Then, while looking at the tip of Rebellion, he plays with it and says, "Fine, brother, come and take it." He then gets serious, points Rebellion at Vergil, and says, "If you can." The two begin to fight.

Dante and Vergil continue their sword fight, with their blood spilling all over the floor. Just then, a missile is fired toward them, revealing Lady as the shooter.
Dante slashes the missile, and then Vergil makes another cut. Dante looks at her and says, "Sorry, but this is no place for a little girl." He then turns around, preparing to resume the fight with Vergil, and adds, "So scram."
Lady launches another missile at him and yells, "Shut up!" Vergil seizes the moment and resumes his fight with Dante.
Lady begins approaching them, trying to strike Vergil with her rocket launcher, but Vergil blocks it and knocks her to the ground. Vergil leaps into the air, spinning, and prepares his katana to strike Lady. Dante tries to get in his way, but he can't, and Lady stands up, using her rocket launcher as a shield against Vergil's katana.
Lady looks him straight in the eye and says, "You're the one who forced him."
Vergil observes her coldly and responds, "Is that what you think? Foolish girl."
Dante charges at Vergil again, causing him to release Lady and refocus on their battle. After a while, both brothers pause to catch their breath. Just then, applause is heard, and Jester appears, saying, "Bravo! Bravo! I never dreamed everything would go so well." Jester continues clapping, looking at everyone as he exclaims, "Well done, well done!"
Dante stands up and looks at him with disgust, "You!"
Lady starts pointing her weapon at Jester, who approaches her and says, "Don't be a bad girl, Mary." He then pushes her aside as he takes her rocket launcher and tosses it to her, "Or else Daddy might have to give you a spanking later." He mocks her, singing, "Jester's gonna spank your butt, spank your butt."
Vergil, with his katana unsheathed, looks at Jester and exclaims, "You crazy fool! I don't know where you came from, but you don't belong here. Now leave!" He then charges at him.
Vergil tries to cut Jester, but Jester catches the katana blade with both hands and whispers, "That was close." Jester leans in closer to Vergil's face and adds, "But you've taken quite a beating today, haven't you, Vergil? If you were in top form, you could've shredded me by now."
Vergil sees Jester beginning to lower his katana and shouts, "Damn you!"
Seeing Vergil weakening, Jester releases him and taunts, "You've lost." Then, he throws Vergil through the air.
Arkham appears and walks toward Lady, saying, "Because you underestimated humans."
Lady looks at him and asks, "What's going on?"
Arkham turns to face her and says, "Good girl, pure and innocent… just like your mother."
Furious, Lady pulls out her gun and points it at Arkham, exclaiming, "Bastard!" Arkham vanishes, and Jester reappears behind her, grabbing her head and saying, "It's time to give you a spanking, dear!" Then he slams her head to the ground and addresses Vergil, "Do you want to know why the spell wasn't broken, huh, Vergil?"
Jester releases Lady, stands up, and begins making hand gestures as he explains, "You've got two amulets and Sparda's blood. You had everything you needed to unleash evil…"
Dante stands up, aims his pistols at Jester, and says, "I told you before, I don't like anyone with a mouth bigger than mine." He then fires at Jester.
Jester dodges the bullets while approaching Dante, saying, "You're hurt and weak; even I can handle you now." Finally, he kicks Dante down to the ground, laughing, "Spank you good!"
Arkham turns to Lady, saying, "Two amulets… a set of Sparda's blood." Then he takes Lady's rocket launcher and adds, "Now I need one more key." As he approaches Lady, he explains, "He sacrificed two things to suppress the immense power of this tower: his own demon blood and a mortal priestess." Then he stabs Lady with the bayonet of the rocket launcher and says, "I needed you, whose body carries the same blood as the sacrificed woman." He stabs her again in the leg and concludes, "Her spell can't be undone without your blood!"
Jester reappears and takes the bayonet, saying, "It was quite a long journey, you know?" Then he starts dancing and says, "If any of you had died before reaching here, our little plan would have gone up in smoke!" While watching them, he adds, "Therefore, my job was to make you fight each other to weaken you, but at the same time, I had to guide you here to ensure you stayed alive." Jester laughs and exclaims, "I even dressed up like a complete fool!" Approaching Lady, he says, "Time to sleep, Mary. You can go visit your dear mother…" and begins laughing like a clown.
Lady quickly stands up, grabs her rocket launcher, and points it at Jester, yelling, "Try me!"
Behind Jester, Vergil and Dante appear, pointing their swords at him. Vergil speaks first, "It's time for the clown to bow out, Arkham."
Dante adds, "Buddy, the show's over!"
Jester shifts back to his Arkham form and says, "Impressive. I expected nothing less from the devil's descendants. But aren't you forgetting something, Vergil?"
In the center of the room, something begins to rise as Arkham continues, "The spell is broken. What do you think will happen next? Let's welcome chaos." The ceiling opens up, and the floor starts to elevate. Taking advantage of the moment, Arkham sweeps Lady, Vergil, and Dante off their feet, tossing them off the rising platform. Before leaving, Arkham looks down at them from above and exclaims, "Sit and wait… Wait for the birth of a new god! I will take Sparda's power!"
The ground beneath Lady begins to crumble, but before she falls, Dante grabs her hand and saves her.
