27: Luna's discovery
The next morning Leo woke up on the floor since he was exhausted from his training in the middle of the night so, when he was done he was like "Screw it" and he lied on yhe floor going on his trip to wonderland.
"I wish I could have gotten more sleep" He said ruffling his white hair.
"Well then, let's get this over with" He said walking lazily to perform his daily routine.
..
Leo joined his family for breakfast.
"Morning Dad, Mom" he said with an exhausted voice .
Harrison and Aria exchanged a puzzled glance, sensing his fatigue.
"Morning son, why do you look so down" Harrison questioned.
"Yeah I agree, you look like someone who hasn't sleep for ages, you know" Aria added .
"Its nothing really " He replied them all trying to clear their doubt.
"Are you sure ?" Kaid, his elder brother, teased him good-naturedly,while Elsie, his sister, smiled sympathetically.
Luna alone seemed to understand, her eyes locking onto his with a knowing spark.
The brief respite ended as Leo finished his meal. He pushed back his chair.
"Excuse me," he said, his voice low.
His parents exchanged a concerned glance but said nothing, respecting his privacy.
Kaid and Elsie nodded, accustomed to Leo's occasional withdrawals.
Luna watched him leave, her expression thoughtful.
As Leo exited, Kaid spoke up, his voice filled with determination.
"I'll be heading out to train with Sir Lucas today. I'm eager to master the Crescent Strike."
Harrison and Aria exchanged proud smiles. "You're making tremendous progress, Kaid," his father said.
"Your dedication to knight training is truly admirable."
Aria nodded. "You've made a significant leap, son. Sir Lucas must be pleased."
Elsie looked up from her breakfast, her eyes shining. "Kaid, you're going to be a brilliant knight one day!"
Kaid chuckled, ruffling Elsie's hair.
"Thanks, little sis."
Moments passed, and the household shifted into motion.Harrison departed for his duties, and Aria followed, accompanied by Elsie, who was eager to assist with her mother's charitable endeavors.
The dining hall emptied, leaving Luna alone, lost in thought. Her gaze drifted toward the window, then back to the door Leo had exited through earlier.
The silence allowed her to reflect on her brother's mysterious behavior.
What was driving Leo's secretive studies? And why did he seem so exhausted?
Luna rose from her seat, her decision made. She would check on Leo, ensure he was well.
She walked to his room, her footsteps light on the stairs.
Reaching his door, Luna knocked softly.
"Leo?"
Silence.
She waited, then knocked again.
Still, no response.
Concerned, Luna gently turned the handle and pushed the door open.
The room was serene, with a soft, ethereal glow. Leo sat in the center, in a lotus position, legs crossed, eyes closed. His hands rested on his knees, palms upward.
Luna's gaze fell upon her brother's peaceful face. His breathing was slow, deep.
He seemed oblivious to her presence.
Luna stepped inside, her movements quiet, not wanting to disturb him. She closed the door behind her, her eyes never leaving Leo's tranquil form.
What was he doing? Meditating?
Luna's gaze lingered on Leo's serene face, wondering what had brought him such peace.
Suddenly, her attention shifted.
The air around Leo transformed.
A gentle breeze whispered past, carrying the essence of air.
A small boulder floated beside him, embodying the solidity of earth.
A delicate flame danced above his shoulder, radiating warmth and light.
A shimmering water orb hovered near his hand, reflecting the fluidity of liquid.
Luna's eyes widened in shock.
"Impossible," she whispered.
Their father had used three different mana and element assessment crystals on Leo.
All three shattered.
And they all concluded that Leo didn't possess elemental powers.
Yet, here he was, surrounded by the very elements they thought he lacked.
Luna's mind reeled, questions swirling.
Was this a mistake?
Had Leo discovered something extraordinary?
Luna's mind reeled, questions swirling.
Leo remained still, unaware of the phenomenon surrounding him.
Luna's awe deepened as she gazed at the elements surrounding Leo.
But then, realization dawned.
"This is what he's been doing in his room all this time," she thought, her mind racing.
The secrecy, the mysterious books, the exhausted look on his face...
It all made sense now.
But how?
Four elements, simultaneously?
That was impossible.
Even the most skilled elemental masters could only wield one or two elements at a time.
And Leo, who had shown no affinity for elements whatsoever...
Luna's thoughts swirled with questions.
How did he achieve this?
What kind of power was this?
Was he controlling the elements, or were they responding to him?
Leo remained motionless, lost in his meditation.
Luna hesitated, unsure whether to disturb him.
But her curiosity and concern for her brother's safety propelled her forward.
She took another step closer, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Leo?"
Luna's awe deepened as she gazed at the elements surrounding Leo.
But then, realization dawned.

She took another step closer, her voice barely above a whisper.
"Leo?"
Luna's gaze lingered on the elements surrounding Leo, her mind reeling.
She thought back to her own magical training, the countless hours spent practicing spells.
A scoff escaped her lips, tinged with self-deprecation.
Her own magic seemed pitiful compared to this.
Simple spells, basic incantations, and mediocre elemental control...
Her training, once a source of pride, now felt laughable.
Leo, who had shown no magical aptitude, had surpassed her in secret.
The elements around him danced in harmony, a testament to his unknown power.
Luna's thoughts turned bitter.
Why had she struggled so much, while Leo achieved this effortlessly?
Was it talent? Dedication? Or something more?
She recalled her own struggles with spellcasting, the frustration and disappointment.
Leo's tranquil face mocked her, his peaceful expression a stark contrast to her own turmoil.
Luna's emotions swirled, a mix of awe, envy, and curiosity.
She took another step closer, her voice barely audible.
"Leo, how...?"
Luna stood there, lost in thought, her gaze still fixed on Leo.
Minutes passed, but her mind was elsewhere, processing the impossibility before her.
Suddenly, she turned and walked away, leaving Leo's room behind.
She forgot to shut the door, her thoughts consuming her.
As she climbed the stairs to her own room, questions swirled.
How did Leo achieve this?
Why had he kept it hidden?
Luna entered her room, still deep in thought.
She collapsed onto her bed, staring blankly at the ceiling.
Her mind replayed the scene in Leo's room: the elements, the tranquility, the power.
Her own magical struggles seemed insignificant now.
Luna's thoughts churned, a mix of emotions: awe, curiosity, envy.
As dusk fell, casting a warm orange glow over her room, Luna remained lost in contemplation.
Even though he was her twin brother there was still this much difference.
"Was this talent" ?
