Khloe's POV
It has been a week, one long week since the silence treatment from Nevian began.
Several times, I had tried to initiate a conversation, even went ahead to tender repeated apologies to him but what did I get in return — nothing.
At first, I thought things were going to return to normalcy but it seemed it wasn't going to happen anytime soon.
Rubbing my nape which was aching, I lowered myself on my seat as I pulled my laptop to myself.
The meeting I had a while ago had exhausted all of my energy and I needed about half an hour to rejuvenate but it was impossible.
In the next thirty minutes, I had a meeting to be the anchor and I couldn't be absent since my presence was pivotal in it.
Still rubbing my nape, I made my way towards my fridge and then picked up a can of juice.
Immediately my phone which was resting on the table beeped, I rushed towards it only to toss it aside almost immediately.
