Jason leaned back, sipping his morning coffee and thinking about the day ahead of him. Anyway, what he needed to do first was set up a Resume, send it to Veronica, and then plan out a business. Even if he had no money, planning was everything.
After all, life was all about planning. Everyone who planned their futures ended up winning. Preparation was the magic of success.
Anyway, he also thought about dealing with something else, and that was with Isabella. She needed to want to call him Daddy. She needed to speak it and it was a subtle play that Jason had to set in motion.
What was a Daddy anyway? It was someone who she could not disobey. And it was someone she had deep feelings for. Jason would have to make sure that he dominated every interaction they had from that moment onward. This was the game. and it had already begun.
After all, Jason had chosen not to text her yesterday, taking all that time until only finally deciding to text her on that day. After all, she had to understand that if anything happened between them, it was only because he was available, not the other way around. Everything would be on his time.
The previous night's deep sleep still lingered as he sat across from Veronica at the table. And both of them sat there, taking in the morning. Today there was an ease in Veronica's presence. And it was as if all the tension she had been carrying all this time, was completely gone. She was very happy right now.
Jason greeted her once again as a joke, saying, "Well, Good morning there, Lady Veronica. How are we doing today?"
Veronica who was busy with her phone stared up at Jason, and then smiled wryly, saying, "Just a lot of business. I realise now that I might not come back tonight. After all, I'm going to another city. Meeting a supplier for some price renegotiation. Such a hassle."
Jason nodded, taking a bit of the bread. Veronica soon stared at Jason and then said, "So are you coming with me? Or are you going alone?"
Jason chuckled, saying, "I have a day off, remember? And I might never come back depending on how quick I am to get a job at this time. Of course, that will all be because of your help too."
She then smiled and said, "I know. I was just checking if you knew, After all, you might have hit your head back then." Jason chuckled at her response, and she smirked at him.
Seeing him stare at her and stick his tongue out, she began laughing at his antics. But later, as her laughter ended and she watched as Jason cleared the plates, telling her she could go to work in peace knowing that her house would be safe with him in it, she felt a bit saddened.
She was somewhat regretting the fact that she had allowed him 2 days off. Otherwise wouldn't she and her be enjoying another car ride together?
She glanced at him and then stood up to take her leave, grabbing her bag and then grabbing her keys. Jason watched her leave, a glint of appreciation in his eyes. She looked so good no matter what she was wearing. But still, there was just something about a business suit that was just magical. He liked this business suit version the most.
And then just as she was walking out, she remembered something. Turning back to him, she walked back and then took a purse out of her bag, handing him some money and saying "Here's your pay for that fatty's week. Feel at home. Be safe."
Jason stared at it and then at her, smiling as he said, "You were serious?"
She chuckled as she turned away from him with a meaningful smirk. And then she walked out, the clanking of her heels the only thing Jason heard after she stepped out of the door. Well, now that he had this money, his plans might actually speed up.
Now that Jason was alone here… The house was his playground. Jason thought about his mission. Should he bring her here? No… That was not good. Rather, it was better for him to be with her in her place. After all, women feel better, and more comfortable, when they are in the areas they own.
After thinking a bit more and realising that he had ignored Isabella enough, Jason took a step in the right direction. Opening up his phone, Jason found her contact that he had added the previous day, and then after setting up the messaging app, he thumbed away at it, sending a casual text her way.
[Hey, is my Guardian Angel around?]
He left it at that, refusing to hover over his phone. When it came to women, it was better to have a mentality of abundance. It did not matter if Jason succeeded or failed with her. After all, he had Veronica. It did not matter if things did not go his way. He still had his smart mouth and his devilishly handsome face. He could always find someone else.
This abundance mentality would actually end up helping him in qualifying himself to her. After all, women liked men who were liked by other women. If Jason did not care whether she liked him or not that would show he was secure in himself. And she already knew just how attractive Jason was to other women. She would not play around with his time.
Anyway, he would also not offer her an immediate reply since that would mean he had nothing going on with his day. It was better for him to chase his goals and do the things he needed to do. A man's life purpose was first and foremost. Women were not even second, as that was family. They might not even be third since that was Network and Friends...
Abundance!
Jason knew that real work would sharpen him, and everything else would lead him astray. Carving out his ambition was a good thing because as he did that, he would carve away at himself. He would become someone disciplined, hard-working, dedicated, and strong-minded, and those were all traits that were seen as attractive to women.
It was important for his life to be difficult. It was important for him to suffer. Everything worth doing is hard after all.
The rest of how morning was just like this. It went by in a rhythm of productivity and quiet planning. He settled down at her office computer, diving into his resume and a tentative business plan. Every click he had, every word he wrote was an important thing.
This was a new phase in his life. And he was ensuring that every piece was in place.
Jason's phone buzzed, and he knew what it was. It was Isabella. She must have replied to his message. Looking at the time, Jason decided to give it 30 minutes before he even looked at it. After all, he was a busy man. His time was valuable. She had to learn to wait for him!
After working a bit more, Jason finally had time to check out the message and then when he did he smirked.
[Hello Jason? It's your Guardian Angel speaking? How may I help you?]
Jason let the message sit for a while, resisting the urge to reply immediately. Taking time to think before giving a reply, was a good thing since it gave him time to consider carefully not only what she was trying to communicate but also what he wanted to communicate back.
So she continued the roleplay that he started. It seemed she was in a playful mood. Good. After seeing the message, Jason put the phone away and continued his work.
There was power in patience. There was power in making her wait and wonder what he was doing. After finishing the first draft of the resume, Jason finally replied, having thought of a good one.
