Ten years ago, a demon named Kazaris became the greatest magic user in his land. A regular knight, who didn't have much magical ability, fought Kazaris and killed him with his own hands.
People were very happy that the era of Kazariz's empire had ended.
After Lyotan and the army of knights returned victorious, the townspeople held a grand celebration. Everything seemed to be going well, or so it appeared.
Someone named sirilik introduced himself as the new king and ordered the execution of all demons and wizards with terrifying supernatural powers, without considering who they were.
When Lyotan learned about this, he resigned and quit being a knight. Lyotan, Kazaris, and Karil lost Tanita because of this, bringing them great sorrow. Kazaris, being a demon, easily moved on, while Lyotan decided to live a peaceful and quiet life. But Karil never forgot and vowed to avenge Tanita's death.
Kazaris regained his power and wanted to rebuild his empire with Karil's help and take revenge on Lyotan.
Karil trapped Lyotan and Kazaris with magical spells, saying, "If you want to be free, you must agree to a peace treaty."
Finally, Kazaris and Lyotan made contract of peace, putting aside their wars and grudges.
Lyotan approached Karil and said, "Karil, I know how you feel, but think about the consequences of what you want to do."
Karil firmly replied, "I've made my decision and it won't change."
Lyotan sighed and said, "I can't stop you; I can only wish you luck." Lyotan decided to part ways with Karil and Kazaris and go his own way.
Kazaris, arms crossed, said, "At least he won't bother us anymore."
Karil approached Kazaris and said, "I know what you're thinking, but I won't let you use me again."
Kazaris scowled, "What do you plan to do?"
Karil, with Kazaris chained, appeared in the town square.
Someone exclaimed in surprise: "Why is Kazariz here?!"
The townspeople gathered around the square, staring in astonishment and murmuring among themselves.
Karil: "From now on, Kazaris, the demon who once enslaved all the people of this land, will serve me."
A man asked in surprise: "Why is he still alive? Why don't you execute him right here?"
Another man said angrily: "Kazaris should be executed right here!"
Suddenly, with a smirk and pride, Karil said: "Kazaris is mine. I decide what to do with him."
A woman asked: "Athiris, what do you plan to do with Kazariz?"
With a smile, Karil said: "I need Kazaris's power, so from now on, I am his master."
A man, astonished, said: "Athiris, you really always surprise us!"
A woman said: "Athiris, I will always support you!"
Kazaris, frowning, thought: "Karil, not only did you force me to make a peace treaty with Lyotan, now you've made me agree to another contract with you to become your servant. And on top of that, you're humiliating me like this in front of the people of this town!"
Kazaris's face was deeply contorted with anger. Karil looked at Kazaris and with a smile said: "You're very angry, aren't you?"
Kazariz was on the verge of exploding with rage, but remained silent the entire time.
Karil was very busy, having to attend to the people in the castle and various tasks.
Karil stood in the hallway when a man approached and said: "Please leave this matter to me. If you do everything alone, you'll get very tired."
Karil, with a sigh, said: "Thank you, now I can rest a bit."
Karil entered his room and said with frustration: "It's much harder than I thought."
Kazaris: "Nothing more is expected from a kid like you."
Kazaris, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, looked at Karil with a frown.
Karil, annoyed, said: "I'm eighteen now, I'm not a kid anymore!"
Kazaris smirked and said: "To me, you're just a kid."
Karil, with pride, said: "Do you think I'm the same kid from ten years ago?" Kazaris came close to Karil and said: "Karil, what happened between you and Athiris?"
Karil sighed and said: "I don't know, but apparently Athiris is the one who has chained my soul."
Kazaris: "Karil, please let me enter your mind." Karil stood still, allowing Kazaris to enter his mind. Kazaris thought: "I need to find out who Athiris really is."
Kazaris tried to connect with Karil's mind, but suddenly a deep shock hit him, pushing him back and causing him to fall to the ground. Karil, surprised, said: "What happened?!"
Kazaris smirked and said: "Karil, never take that ring off your finger again." Karil looked at the white ring on his finger and said: "Athiris is my friend, he would never harm me."
Kazaris stood up angrily and said: "You don't understand, there's a demon inside you!"
Karil smiled and said: "Another demon is standing right in front of me."
Kazaris: "He has enslaved your soul!"
Karil, with a cold and harsh look, said: "I don't care, as long as I can avenge Tanita's death, nothing else matters."
Kazaris got closer to Karil and said: "You shouldn't harm yourself like this, other demons aren't as kind as me!" Kazaris reached out to grab Karil's wrist, but suddenly Karil grabbed Kazaris's forearm tightly and said with a frown: "You're not in a position to stop me, be quiet and do as I say."
Kazaris, shocked, said: "Karil, you..."
Karil, with a proud smile, said: "I'm not that weak, miserable kid anymore, Kazaris."
Kazaris was walking in the green space, his face contorted as he thought about what Karil had said to him. He stopped and, holding his forehead, said: "I thought I was like his brother, but he prefers another demon over me."
Kazaris was very upset with the way Karil had treated him, feeling as if he had lost something very valuable.
Mellory saw Kazaris from behind and said happily: "Kazaris, is that you?" Kazaris looked back, a bit happy, and thought: "Mellory, I was almost forgetting about you."
