Chapter 2 - Tragedy past

Kazaris, a powerful dark sorcerer who had mastered many magical techniques and built a great kingdom, was killed by a superhero named Lyotan. However, before dying, Kazariss used reincarnation magic, and his soul entered the body of a very unfortunate child named Karil.

"What? I'm in the body of a child?!" Kazariss exclaimed.

Kazariss found himself reincarnated in the body of a boy named Karil, an 8-9-year-old who was rumored to be cursed. The townspeople were afraid to approach Karil, believing that looking into his red eyes brought bad luck. Kazaris was imprisoned in the basement of a house by an unfeeling woman. He carefully searched the basement for a way to escape and eventually climbed out through a small window using a rope.

Kazariss stealthily entered the house to gather more information about Karil. He found a dusty room with a mirror and uncovered it to see Karil's face.

"Red eyes, how beautiful and lovely," he said with a smile.

Kazariss felt a bit tired; the reincarnation magic had drained a lot of his mana. He sat by the window in the same room, leaned against the wall, closed his eyes, and fell asleep.

Kazaris found himself floating in a peculiar world, surrounded by a blue hue.

"Where is this?" Kazariss wondered. He saw a boy chained up. It was Karil,

with his raven-black hair and terrifying red eyes.

Kazariss :"Interesting, so I'm in your dream Karil."

Karil replied, "This isn't a dream; this is a place where you and I can meet." Kazariss smiled and said, "So you're

still alive. I thought you were dead." Karil frowned and said, "Unfortunately, I'm so unlucky that just before I died, you took over my body."

Kazariss got angry and asked, "Why did you commit suicide?"

Karil gave a sad smile and said, "I bring bad luck to others. The world is a better place without me."

Kazariss sneered and said, "Who told you that? You're just a miserable kid. You can't even take care of yourself. How pathetic."

Karil responded, "You don't know, I..."

Karil's memories appeared. Karil was

sitting in front of a house that had burned down, crying.

Karil looked at Kazariss and said, "You are now my master. You can see my memories."

Kazariss said proudly, "How sad, but I don't care in the slightest."

Karil replied, "Yeah, well, you're a demon and you enjoy seeing a kid like me suffer."

Kazariss frowned, "You didn't say why you committed suicide."

Karil said, "Well, Liasin wanted to sell me to some scary men, so I thought suicide was better than enduring more pain."

Kazariss laughed, "What? That woman is really excellent at being evil."

Karil frowned and said, "I give you my body, so kill me now and save me from this painful life."

Kazariss put his hands on Karil's shoulders, looked into Karil's eyes, and said, "How can you let them treat you like this? I will take revenge on that arrogant woman for you."

Karil was shocked and said, "What? Why do you want to take revenge for me..."

Suddenly, Kazariss disappeared.

Liasin shouted angrily, "You insolent child, how did you escape from the basement?!"

Kazariss woke up to Liasin's voice. Liasin stood over him with a grim face.

Liasin said, "Come with me."

Kazariss stood up. Liasin grabbed his wrist tightly and dragged him to the living room. Several men were sitting on the couch. One of them stood up and smiled, "So this is the boy you were talking about. What beautiful eyes he has."

Seeing the man, Kazariss thought, "These are the men Karil was talking about. This woman wants to sell Karil to them."

Liasin smiled and said, "Yes, as I promised, I am delivering the boy to you."

Suddenly, Kazariss kicked Liasin's leg and freed his hand.

Liasin shouted angrily, "You damn child!"

Kazariss quickly ran towards the window and escaped.

The man said, "The boy is very quick. We need to be more careful with him," while pulling up his glove with a smile.

Kazariss climbed up a tree and looked at the house from a distance.

Kazariss said, "It seems those men aren't Karil's brothers. I'll make sure you pay for what you've done to this boy!" He then gave a sinister smile.

The man said, "You couldn't deliver the boy to me, so our deal is off."

Liasin exclaimed, "What?! But...!"

The man said, "Let's go. We're not dealing with this woman anymore."

Liasin grabbed the man's leg and pleaded, "Please wait, I'll bring the boy to you!"

The man frowned at Liasin and said, "You treated that boy so badly that you made him scared of us and run away. I don't deal with filthy people like you."

The man freed his leg, straightened his coat, and left with his men.

Liasin ran towards the door and said, "Wait, please give me another chance!"

Suddenly, Liasin's house caught fire.

The man said, "What? A fire right now?"

Liasin quickly ran up the stairs, heading to her room to save her belongings from the fire.

Liasin said with great stress, "Damn it, why should such a fire happen?!"

She tried to extinguish the fire with her shoe.

Kazariss laughed and said, "How do you feel now, Liasin?"

Liasin looked at Kazariss in surprise and said, "Why?! Why did you do this?!"

Kazariss fiddled with a knife in his hand and said, "Have you forgotten what you did to Karil in the past?" He sneered.

Liasin knelt before Kazariss and said, "You are my nephew, how can you do this to your aunt?"

Kazariss laughed and said, "So you are Kazaris's aunt."

Liasin looked in surprise and said, "Who are you?"

Kazariss stood up, looked at Liasin with hatred, and said, "I am a demon, here to take revenge on you for Karil." Then he gave a devilish laugh.

Liasin's scream was so loud that it reached outside. The man looked at Liasin's house and said, "Why do I feel like there's a demon inside that house?"

Kazaris walked to the city with bare feet and tattered clothes. A woman approached Kazariss and said, "Poor child, you must have a very hard life."

Kazariss thought, "If I go to the orphanage, I can find new parents, then with a plan, I will find my castle and regain my power!" He laughed to himself.

Kazariss looked at the woman sadly and said, "Our house burned down, and my aunt died. Now I have no one to live with."

The woman looked at Kazariss and said, "Don't worry anymore, I'll take you to a good place. Then you'll find a new family and can start a good life." She smiled.

The woman took Kazaris's hand and led him to the city's orphanage. Kazariss's new life was about to begin.
