{Milo's POV}
The door barely squeaked as I pulled it towards myself, staring closely at the red mark Beltros's punch left on my palm, regretting my action of stepping in to save Mark.
The infirmary was a long way from the main house, so I had to take a short cut through the servants quarters.
Short stacks of blue and red ornamental flowers bloomed in a small grassy field, leading straight to a curve before the main entrance. Carriages were being loaded there once again, this time for the departure of the beast king and his royal court.
Brown wooden boxes of jewels came first, before fresh fruits and bags filled with rotneg. Then finally, a huge box- with the resemblance of a treasure chest- was lifted gently into the kings main ride.
"IC orbs huh?"
