In the skies above Planet Vegeta, the bloodied Bardock fought his way through a series of foes, finally reaching Frieza—
"Hehehe, now everything can change."
"The fate of Planet Vegeta, my own destiny, Kakarot's destiny, and your fate too."
"Take this, Frieza!"
With a roar that echoed across the heavens, Bardock unleashed an energy blast with all his remaining strength aimed straight at Frieza.
Frieza, holding a small energy sphere at his fingertip, watched coldly, and only as Bardock's blast neared did he let out a bloodthirsty grin—
"Ohohoho…"
"Hahahahaha!!!!"
Amid the shocked expressions of everyone watching, the energy sphere at Frieza's fingertip rapidly expanded, swallowing Bardock's blast whole.
"Wh-What?!"
Bardock's eyes widened with shock.
With a cruel smirk, Frieza flicked his finger, sending the massive energy sphere hurtling down toward Bardock and his own men.
"L-Lord Frieza!!!"
In utter horror, Frieza's subordinates were engulfed one by one by the enormous energy sphere. Soon, Bardock was swallowed up as well.
As his body began to collapse and disintegrate, a vision of the future emerged before Bardock's eyes once more.
There, on a distant planet, his daughter and a black-haired youth were locked in a cataclysmic battle with Frieza!
"Ah… Kakarot!!!"
…
On Earth, located in the Solar System of the Milky Way, two distant visitors arrived on this very day.
Whoosh…
Two spaceships descended from the sky, crashing into a forest with loud booms, scattering countless animals and birds.
Not long after, the hatch of one spaceship opened, and a figure emerged.
It was Yuujin, who had escaped from Planet Vegeta!
"Cough… cough…"
He lay on the ground coughing repeatedly; the final landing impact had almost knocked him unconscious due to the lack of cushioning.
After resting for a while, he finally regained his strength, climbed out of the crater caused by the crash, and looked around.
"Earth, this is Earth…"
"Haha… Hahaha…"
"Hahahahaha!!!!"
At first, he chuckled quietly, but soon it became a roar of laughter. An overwhelming mix of emotions surged through him, and tears began to stream from Yuujin's eyes.
Six years, a full six years. Every day on Planet Vegeta, he had lived on edge, never daring to let his guard down.
He had longed for this blue planet countless times—again and again!
It took Yuujin half an hour to vent the negative emotions that had accumulated over those six years. With that, he felt physically and mentally liberated, as if a great weight had been lifted from him.
Wiping away the tears from his face, Yuujin regained his usual determination and began to carefully survey his surroundings.
The area was a forest, the air was incredibly fresh—far better than on Planet Vegeta.
The gravity was light, allowing Yuujin to leap nearly a hundred meters into the air with ease.
Apart from the forest, there were no signs of human habitation nearby, so it was impossible to determine his exact landing location.
Returning to the crater created by the spaceship's impact, Yuujin opened the hatch to retrieve Kakarot.
During the rough landing, the impact had almost made Yuujin cough up blood, and he was unsure whether Kakarot had been injured. But he quickly found out that he needn't have worried; the little girl was still fast asleep.
A bit speechless, Yuujin lifted Kakarot out, jumped to the ground, and gently patted her chubby cheek.
"Hey, Kakarot, wake up. It's time to get up."
"Yaa…"
Kakarot slowly opened her sleepy eyes, glanced at Yuujin, and then prepared to doze off again.
"You little slacker, haven't you slept enough after months in the spaceship?"
Yuujin gave Kakarot's cheek another pat, chiding her.
Like a computer booting up, Kakarot finally began to wake up. Her big watery eyes sparkled with curiosity as she took in her surroundings.
"This is Earth, our new home from now on."
"And we no longer need to use our Saiyan names."
"I am Yuujin, and you shall be Goku—Son Goku, got it?"
Yuujin said as he lifted Kakarot up.
"Yaa yaa…"
Apparently liking the name, Kakarot—or rather, Son Goku—cheered happily with eyes half-closed.
Nodding with satisfaction, Yuujin was about to set little Son Goku down when suddenly a dark shadow leapt out from the nearby forest!
"Roar!!!"
A striped giant tiger with sharp fangs lunged out of the woods, snarling.
A cold glint flashed in Yuujin's eyes as he let out a snort, leaping into the air and kicking.
"Ow…"
The tiger let out a pained cry, its massive body hurtling back over ten meters, slamming into a tree with a thud before collapsing to the ground and twitching. It quickly succumbed.
Even though Yuujin's current combat strength was a mere 18, making him one of the weakest among the Saiyans, on Earth he was still a rare expert. Dealing with a giant tiger like this was effortless.
As he examined the dead tiger, Yuujin noticed that it was different from the tigers he had seen in his previous life. Its exaggerated fangs were nearly half a meter long, resembling those of prehistoric creatures.
Though slightly surprised, Yuujin quickly shrugged it off.
After all, this Earth wasn't the same as the one from his previous life. Here, prehistoric creatures like dinosaurs still existed, some animals possessed extraordinary intelligence and could communicate with humans, and even beast-headed humanoid creatures lived in cities.
This truly was a fascinating and extraordinary world!
"Just perfect, I'm hungry. I'll make you my first feast!"
Muttering to himself, Yuujin walked over and dragged the tiger's corpse away.
Spending his first day on Earth enjoying a tiger meat feast was certainly an auspicious start.
As night fell, Yuujin lit a bonfire beside the spaceship, roasting the striped tiger over it.
The meat turned golden brown, filling the air with an enticing aroma.
"Yaa yaa…"
Drooling, little Son Goku, who sat on Yuujin's lap, reached for the roasting meat but quickly retracted her hand, wincing as it got too close to the heat. She then looked up at Yuujin with a pitiful expression.
