With cleaning tools in hand, Yuujin walked towards the training room.
At the same time, two figures approached from the opposite direction in the hallway.
Leading the way was a petite girl, dressed in the iconic Saiyan battle armor, with a royal cloak draped over her shoulders, symbolizing her royal status.
Although the girl was very cute, her expression was arrogant and cold—she was none other than the genius of the Saiyan race, Princess Vegeta.
Yes, you read that right, it's Vegeta—not Vegeta as the prince, but as the princess!
When Yuujin first heard that this Saiyan princess, who was only one year younger than him, was born, he was so shocked that his jaw almost dropped.
Something definitely went wrong with his reincarnation!
However, aside from the change in gender, everything else was almost identical to the original story. This Princess Vegeta was proud, cold, and battle-hardened, a super genius who had been pampered and adored since childhood. In contrast, Yuujin, with a measly battle potential of 5, was as far beneath her as heaven is from earth.
Although she was only 5 years old, her battle power was already terrifyingly high. It was said that she was on the verge of surpassing King Vegeta himself—a true battle prodigy!
However, none of this had much to do with Yuujin, and even if it did, there was nothing he could do to change it. The only regret he had was that Goku and Vegeta, the eternal companions from the original story, probably wouldn't be happening in this world.
Behind Princess Vegeta was a tall, burly man—her subordinate Nappa, hailing from a noble Saiyan family.
This guy was still the same as in the original story, a true macho man, and at this point, he wasn't bald yet.
As the two approached, Yuujin stepped aside, lowering his head in a respectful bow.
Not to mention the princess, even Nappa, her lackey, held a status on this planet that was leagues above Yuujin's.
The two passed by without even acknowledging him, though Princess Vegeta's eyes lingered on him for a brief moment as they crossed paths.
"Nappa, who was that guy?" Princess Vegeta asked as she walked.
Though she was only 5 years old, her voice lacked any of the childish tone typical of her age, already carrying the authority and majesty of a princess.
"Your Highness, do you mean the person we just passed?"
"Yes, that guy. I see him every time I leave the training room."
"His name is Sirus. He's a tailless Saiyan, a servant doing odd jobs around here."
"Tch, so that's the trash!" Vegeta said with visible disgust after Nappa recalled Yuujin's identity.
Princess Vegeta had heard of this failed Saiyan, as people often used his incompetence to highlight her genius. This comparison made her feel insulted rather than honored.
"Do you hate that waste, Your Highness? If you want, I'll kill him for you right now!" Nappa said, a glint of bloodlust in his eyes.
"No need. Killing that trash would only dirty our hands. Let him rot on his own," Princess Vegeta said coldly, clearly uninterested in discussing the matter further.
"Hehe, Your Highness, you're truly merciful," Nappa chuckled, withdrawing his killing intent.
Their voices carried clearly to Yuujin's ears, who stood stiff and silent until they disappeared from sight. He wiped the cold sweat from his brow with a bitter smile.
He hadn't done anything, yet he had just brushed past death. If Nappa had decided to kill him, no one would have stopped him or avenged Yuujin—not even the woman who had taken him in. Everyone would have praised Nappa and the princess.
Such was the brutal reality of this world!
"I really am lucky to be alive," Yuujin muttered, reflecting on how he had miraculously survived until now. Since his rebirth, he had narrowly escaped death several times. He had long learned to approach life with a calm mindset, so he quickly brushed off what had just happened and stepped into the training room.
The training room was in chaos, with disgusting fluids and the dismembered bodies of Saibamen scattered everywhere.
Saibamen, also known as Cultivars, were bio-engineered monsters grown from special seeds by the Saiyans. They were extremely violent and had strong battle power.
Yuujin remembered that in the original story, these things had a battle power of around 1,200. They could easily wipe out someone as weak as him a hundred thousand times over!
Yet, to the Saiyans, Saibamen were nothing more than disposable tools, used and discarded.
It made Yuujin feel even more useless. Compared to these creatures, he was even less valuable.
But he did have one thing to be proud of.
Heh, while these Saibamen were stronger, who had lived longer than him?
The longest a Saibaman had ever lived was only a few months, and most died within days of being created.
Survival wasn't just about brute strength—it required brains, too.
With a wry grin, Yuujin donned his gloves and carefully began cleaning up the remains of the Saibamen. For him, even their corpses were dangerous. Their regular blood wasn't too bad, but their heads contained a potent acid that could melt anything on contact.
He remembered there had once been another slave who helped him with these tasks, but that guy had mistaken the acid for regular blood, touched it, and ended up being melted into nothing.
Yuujin silently thanked that man's sacrifice, reminding himself to never make the same mistake.
It took him several hours to finish cleaning the room, wiping every surface spotless. Even though Yuujin was a pure-blooded Saiyan, his status on this planet was no better than that of a slave. He had to increase his worth in every way possible to survive...
