Rustle, rustle...
On a cold, dimly lit street, a figure was leaping rapidly, each step propelling them several meters or even dozens of meters forward.
It was Yuujin, who had just finished work and was heading home to rest.
On both sides of the street were the homes of Saiyans. However, most Saiyans were away on missions to invade other planets, only occasionally returning to Planet Vegeta to rest for a few days in their homes. As a result, the streets were usually deserted.
Yuujin's speed was astonishing, and his movements were incredibly agile, easily jumping from one rooftop to another across the street. If this were Earth, passersby would be left slack-jawed, exclaiming in awe at his skills. But here, he was merely a failure who couldn't even fly and had to travel on foot.
After leaping through the streets for over ten minutes, Yuujin finally landed and stopped in front of a house.
It was an ordinary house on the side of the street—Yuujin's home.
No, more accurately, it was the home of the woman who adopted Yuujin. After all, even a simple house like this was out of reach for someone as useless as him.
That woman had gone off with her team on a mission to invade another planet, and based on past experiences, she wouldn't return for a few more days. Yuujin used his ID card to open the door, stepped inside, and turned on the lights.
Everything was just as it had been when he left in the morning. Yuujin was already used to this. He took out some ingredients from the refrigerator, entered the kitchen, and quickly prepared a sumptuous meal for himself.
After working the entire day, Yuujin was starving. He devoured the food ravenously, wiping out the entire table of dishes.
Even though he was only six years old, Yuujin, like other Saiyans, had a huge appetite, especially after working or exercising. He needed to replenish a large amount of food every day.
After rapidly finishing off the entire table of food, Yuujin patted his belly, showing a hint of satisfaction.
After resting for a while, he glanced at the time. Then, Yuujin quickly tidied up the table and dishes and headed to the grassy patch outside the house.
It was time for training!
Despite his pitifully low combat potential and the fact that he was a Saiyan without a tail—a mark of a failure—Yuujin had never given up on his determination and hope of becoming stronger.
Just like in the original "Dragon Ball" story, the Saiyan race had already pledged allegiance to the evil galactic emperor Frieza, serving him. If the fate of this world followed the original "Dragon Ball" storyline, it wouldn't be long before Frieza would destroy the Saiyan race and this planet!
Yuujin had no intention of waiting around to die with the others on this planet, so he needed to strengthen himself as much as possible and escape before Frieza destroyed the planet.
After regulating his breathing, Yuujin began his training—
One-handed push-ups: 5,000 reps per hand!
Sit-ups: 5,000 reps!
Jump squats: 5,000 reps!
Horse stance with punches: 10,000 punches!
Yuujin didn't know any martial arts or combat techniques, and no one on Planet Vegeta could teach him. So, he trained his body in the most basic ways.
After more than two hours of training, Yuujin was drenched in sweat, lying on the ground, gasping for breath.
Even though he had Saiyan blood, at just six years old, this level of training was exhausting. He could push himself further, but if he overtrained and couldn't work or was late the next day, it would cause trouble.
Yuujin placed a scouter on his head and pressed the switch. The numbers on the scouter flickered before finally showing the number 18.
This meant Yuujin currently had a combat power of 18!
Don't underestimate this 18 combat power. In the original "Dragon Ball" story, Son Goku only had a combat power of 10 when the story began, yet he was already a skilled martial artist by then, virtually untouchable by ordinary people.
On Earth, Yuujin could easily thrive with this 18 combat power, living comfortably. Unfortunately, this wasn't Earth—it was the Saiyan homeworld of Planet Vegeta. Even if his combat power increased tenfold, he would still be considered a weakling here!
Sighing deeply, Yuujin quickly adjusted his mindset.
He knew that to survive and eventually escape, he'd have to rely on his intelligence. Combat power could only be a supporting tool.
After removing the scouter, Yuujin returned inside, took a shower, set his alarm clock, and collapsed into bed.
With endless work every day and squeezing in training afterward, both his body and mind were exhausted. Almost the instant he lay down, Yuujin fell into a deep sleep.
The night passed without incident. The next day—
"Wah wah wah..."
The noisy cries of babies echoed endlessly through the room, grating on the nerves.
It was like an assembly line in a factory. Transport machines moved from one room to another, constantly in motion.
But these machines weren't carrying goods or products—they were transporting newborn babies!
As if announcing their arrival into the world, the babies all screamed at the top of their lungs. Some of the more active ones even crawled or rolled around on the conveyor belt. Not one was peaceful.
Although Yuujin was used to this scene, he still couldn't help but feel emotional whenever he saw it.
These were all Saiyan offspring, yet they were treated like cargo.
"Sirus, take these noisy brats to the nursery, and hurry up!"
A Saiyan, irritated by the noise, kicked a baby that had crawled off the transport machine back onto it, shouting at Yuujin.
Without saying much, Yuujin continuously picked up the babies from the transport machine, cleaned them, and delivered them to the nursery according to their ID numbers.
Since Yuujin was still small, he had to jump and stretch to reach many places. On top of that, most Saiyan babies were feisty, even when held. They clawed and tugged, making Yuujin's job even harder.
"These are the last two for today..."
Looking at the final two babies delivered by the machine, an exhausted Yuujin sighed with relief.
They were two baby girls, plump and cute, with the characteristic Saiyan tails.
Unlike the other rowdy babies, these two were quiet, even asleep on the transport machine.
Yuujin couldn't help but smile. He picked them up, cleaned them, and carried them to the nursery.
"Number 75, daughter of lower-class warrior Paragus, Broly."
"Number 76, daughter of lower-class warrior Bardock, Kakarot."
After placing the two baby girls in their designated cribs, Yuujin clapped his hands, thinking the job was done, and turned to leave.
But just after taking two steps, Yuujin froze—
"Daughter of Paragus... Broly... Daughter of Bardock... Kakarot..."
"Could it be...?"
A bolt of lightning struck his mind. At that moment, Yuujin felt utterly overwhelmed...
