The palace was surrounded by pain and suffering "AHHH!" "HELP!" "ACK!" "MOM! HELP ME!" And there is this young boy who is taking all that pain and suffering all by himself
"I won't stop until you learn your lesson, you stupid brat!" The woman continued to wimp the boy's body all over and over again. "And call me 'Your Highness! Not mom!"
"NO! YOUR HIGHNESS! PLEASE! I'M SORRY!" The boy continued to cry out loud, that the palace was too big for everyone to hear the suffering of the young prince.
Nyxius P.O.V
"After Treating your wounds, get back to work" "Got that?!" Mom's anger towards me has not changed since then.
"Y-Yes M-Ma'am '' Mom leaves the room while slamming the big door in front of me. I only know how to get scared. I don't know how to fight, and that is why my mother didn't praise me enough like how she praised my older brother.
"I-…" I tried my best not to cry out loud and hugged myself. Touching the place where bruises and scars imprint on my body.
"I gotta work hard to see my two little sisters" I cried alone in this room filled with darkness, and loneliness until someone opened the door.
"Your Highness!" Archie-Lee Easter rushed to me with a nervous look on his face. "I am so sorry your Highness, I'm late because I had a mission to finish, I am really sorry" he looked so disappointed because he wasn't able to protect me.
Archie-Lee Easter is the kingdom's best butler and a Hitler. He was there since the very beginning of my life.
"You don't have to apologize, it's my fault that the Queen got mad at me because I wasn't able to do my work properly" I smiled like it was nothing, and everything was fine "So I deserve such a punishment from the Queen"
"But your Highness! It's not fair that you are the only one who's doing all the work here in the palace. Remember. You are a Prince too; you deserve to be looked up to by people and be treated nicely"
"I don't deserve such a thing like that, Archie. After all, I am powerless. I can't fight, and I don't have the special powers that you guys have. I'm just a normal human being" I sighed
"I clearly understand what you want for me, Archie, I too wanted that. But the world is against me. The high and mighty might not choose me to become the ruler of this kingdom." He started to feel bad and tears came out from his side eyes. My heart Is throbbing from all of the sadness I'm feeling inside of my chest.
"Don't give up, Your Highness!" I was shocked by his words. I'm a typical person who gives up on everything when I keep falling apart. But, the next word encourages me to never give up on playing by my own rules, and not by others.
"You should never give up for the sake of your sisters" I remember now. Someone was waiting for me. And I'll be waiting for them.
"You're right. I'm sure they're not giving up either, huh?" I chuckled a bit and stood up even though my body still ached and felt numb with all of the pain I had earlier.
"Say, Archie…" I looked outside of the big window, and I saw the moon shining and giving us moonlight. The wind blew the curtains and my red hair.
"This time…I'll play by my own rules"
