TOSHIAKI'S P.O.V
"You still don't know how to give up, old man. Since when did you know his location?" Zephyr Clenched his jaw while finally taking off his clothes to prepare for the duel.
"Since the moment you let down your guard, kid" He punched his palm ready for the intense battle. Zephyr's vein traveled through his jaw as he clenched it harder.
Both of them were ready to attack each other but another shout from Nyxius that echoed through the whole kingdom made them stop.
"Tsk! This happened because of you, old man" Zephyr clicked his tongue. He released some kind of spell barrier around Nyxius. I was shocked to see Nyxius's eyes letting out blood tears
[ Frágma Orthografías: Cast of Wall ] The impact made Nyxius scream louder so much, that it was a scream of a person dying. Nyxius's hair is slowly turning back to its original color. But his eyes are still releasing too much blood.
"Your Highness!" The guy immediately broke the spell barrier with his regalith.
[ Xórki Afaíresi: Remove ] Nyxiux's body started to float. My jaw dropped when I saw him in that situation. How? Many questions popped out of my head.
"Fuck! Stop meddling with my plans, Old man!" Zephyr shouted with full rage. His green hair lightened up as he started to unleash his Regalith to defeat the old man just to make his plan succeed.
The man finally held Nyxius in his arms. He was glad to see Nyxius in his original form. But there's part of him where he looks like he is regretting something.
Zephyr started to attack both of them. The old man didn't do anything to avoid it. He remains still where he Is while holding onto Nyxius tightly.
"Hey! What are you doing?" I shouted. But miracles happened the moment Zephyr stepped on the blood that was on the floor that came out of Nyxius while he was in a weird type of form.
"What the?!" He coughed blood, then fell.
What happened? The moment he stepped onto the blood that came out of Nyxius he coughed blood, and his body got weaker and weaker as he fell.
"Seems like you don't know that much about his power, huh?" The old man stood up, Carrying Nyxius in his hand.
"Fuck off," He said then took a deep breath. He couldn't catch some air properly which made him hard to breathe.
"The Highness has many things he wanted to do to make this world's shit disappear. Prime Minister, Zephy. I believe that the way you people govern the kingdom of ours affects others too. That's why there is no more hope for this world. All the source and resources that needed to be delivered to our country was gone. Because the dealers from the other country were afraid of us. Afraid of what you guys may do to them with the power you guys held on within your hands"
"In what I see, If Highness Nyxius were to rule the kingdom, there might be a chance for him and for everyone in this world to have a peaceful life. Like how it is back…" The old man stopped.
"Back what?" He laughed loudly "You see, there are no good memories about the past. This is how our kingdom rules. We are entitled "The most powerful and largest Kingdom In our one and MotherLand" He kept on laughing until he coughed again a lot of blood.
"But the book that the previous Empress wrote…It was confirmed by the Late before the Previous Queen that it was legitimate and one hundred percent true" The old man frowned. I couldn't understand much about what they were talking about, But I listened well because this could be helpful someday.
"The previous empress was a murderer and a liar. I'm pretty sure the book she wrote decades ago was full of shit!" The old man raised his eyebrows and then kicked down Zephyr's head to the blood,
"I was proud to raise the Highness. I'm glad he didn't turn out to be an arrogant person like the rest of you. He was pure like the previous Queen" He pushed down Zephyr's head much harder to the ground.
"That's… in… your imagination" The old man stopped. "That previous Queen you're talking about didn't exist in our world. Someone made that up. It's still a mystery why that woman's name was on every book in our kingdom. Yet no one knows why they write that, nor that they know who that person is and why they called them the Queen of Rain" The blood was all over Zephyr's face including in his eyes. It's a miracle to see him to have
"You…Wanna know what we did to the authors who wrote that kind of book?" Zephyr traveled his thumb horizontally to his neck while sticking out his tongue.
The old man rages with anger and strikes at Zephyr for the last time. This made Zephyr lose his consciousness. The old man kept panting. His sweat traveled down through his cheek. The surroundings remained silent. But the main town was screaming with fear and anger as they were caught in a big fire that the coated man caused.
Nyxius moved his fingers a little bit to touch the old man. He was not in his mind, yet he was trying to reach for the old man's face.
"The..Kids…:" Nyxius's eyes were still bleeding. I couldn't imagine the pain he got, but I can feel that he was suffering so much, even before now.
"Toshiaki…" The last word he said before passing out. My eyes widened with softness on it. How could you still think of us even when you're about to die? Stupid I wanted to go near him, But the presence of that old man is just scary. He is giving off the "If you go near us, I'll kill you" Something like that.
"Your Highness… I'll tell you everything when you gain your consciousness again," The old man said to Nyxius. In the blink of an eye, they disappeared. My eyes traveled in every direction to look for them.
"It's…No use. They must have gone somewhere far. He will not allow Nyxius to remain attached to any person… He will continue to work with himself to make their plan succeed" In the blink of an eye, he disappeared too.
It's like a war has happened right before my eyes. The kingdom was on fire, the people in town were screaming and begging for mercy, while the others were screaming with anger, cursing the kingdom of Bozu for making their lives miserable.
"Brother…" Mikhail called me. She was bursting into tears. She looked at me with no hope in her eyes. I haven't seen Mikhail like this. Nor that she called me 'Brother'
She collected the bodies of our little brothers and sisters. Almost all of them died, and none of them survived. Not a single beat in their heart remains. I couldn't cry. I don't feel like crying. Rather than that, I got angry… Angry at my stupid self.
BACK TO NYXIUS'S P.O.V
I feel like it's been forever since I'm not in the presence of the world. I woke up feeling unfamiliar with the surroundings. I only hear the sound of a big waterfall and the sound of someone cooking.
My body was numb, my eyes were sealed and I couldn't open it. I can't feel my whole body, as if it was disobeying my orders to move. I tried to push all my strength to it, but it only made me much worse than before.
"Ahh!" I screamed. A loud noise of footsteps came into the room where I was in.
"Your Highness?" A familiar voice softened my heart. All the eeriness disappeared as I let out all of my tears. Just hearing his voice and knowing he is safe and sound.
"Archie!" My heart couldn't take it anymore. I burst all of my emotions into him. He took me in his arms. I could feel the warmth around him.
I'm very glad to know that he is alive. He is here with me. I don't want him to leave me again. I only want Archie to stay with me.
"Your Highness, I'm very glad that you regained consciousness. I don't know what I'm gonna do if you left me here without a word" I could feel Archie's happiness.
It took me hours to finally calm down. My eyes are swelling after that. Archie carried me back to the bed. I can't see because my eyes are still sealed.
"What happened, Archie?" I asked, "Come to think of it, where is Toshiaki and the others?" The silence swallowed my thoughts, and my heart won't stop beating loudly.
"Archie?" I called him to get his attention.
"Oh! Sorry, well. Before that let's eat, okay? It's been several months since you were unconscious. I'm pretty sure your stomach is very upset for not feeding him for several months" I could hear him giggling nervously.
For the past several months? I was unconscious? The only thing I could remember was I was shouting out of my lungs at my brother to stop him from killing Toshiaki and Mikhail. I…I also remembered that the kids were.
I slapped both my cheeks. "No…" I said to myself.
"Your Highness?" A shout from Archie. I'm sure that slap echoed downstairs and made Archie shout, making him worried.
He rushed to my room to check on me. I could hear the panting he was making.
"What's wrong?" He reached for my face. "It's red! What happened? Does it hurt so much? Who did this to you?" Archie hasn't changed at all. He won't stop worrying about me.
I giggled and touched Archie's hand "You're overreacting, Archie. I'm fine, I did this to myself" It's warm. His hand was warm. I couldn't ask for too much more than this. Just him with me is fine.
"Why did you hurt yourself, Your Highness? You're still in pain, are you?" He said. I shook my head, to let him know that I was now fine.
"Could you please take the seal off from my eyes?" I begged Archie, knowing he was hesitating to remove it.
[ Afairó ] He said calmly while holding my eyes. "Can you open it?"
I opened my eyes slowly. Although it hurt, I managed to open it without worry. The moment I opened my eyes, I saw Archie's face. I knew it, even his face remained the same.
"I'm back, Archie" I sobbed.
"Welcome back, Your Highness" He welcomed me back with a warm hug and a pat to my head.
After that hug, I recalled all the things that happened to me back at Toshiaki's place where we got attacked by my older brother. My heart, head and body started to ache. As if all the pain I got there came back to me at once. As well as the moment I saw the kids lying on the ground, covered in blood.
"Your Highness?" He got worried again. I shouted. That made Archie shocked. He quickly tried to calm me down with his regalith. But I only continued to scream with panic, as I remembered all the things that happened that day. It was the worst and the most ruthless thing I've ever witnessed in my life.
"Your Highness, Breathe in, Breathe out" He ordered me to do what he said. I followed his instructions. I breathe in and breathe out. My thoughts were finally cleared after a few minutes of breathing in and out.
I remember back in the days when Archie used to do this to me every day whenever I was panicking, in pain, or anything that caused pain to me. I'm glad he was here to calm me down.
"Have you finally calmed down?" I forgot that Archie is already in his 40s. Using too much Regalith and taking care of a troublesome person like me can literary drain him.
"Thank you. I recalled all the memories that day, but not clearly. Could you tell me what happened?" He gave off a big sigh. His eyes started to be gloomy all of a sudden.
"I guess it's time for you to know the truth" The Truth? Could there be something important that I need to hear?
"You see, Your Highness. It's not true that you don't have the power of Regalith" I was flabbergasted.
"It's a power that you can use either to destroy the world or save it. It's the power of The Throne of Eternity: The Sovereign's Powerful Command"
My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe what I'm hearing right now.
"But due to your weak body, will and soul. You only happened to activate it Unconsciously. It's the second time that has happened"

"So that's why when my Older Brother tried to kill Toshiaki in front of my eyes. I lost consciousness, and accidentally activated my Regalith" It's because it triggers the Throne of Eternity, due to my overwhelming emotional intensity.
"Yeah. That's the truth about you" He said.
"Then why did you not tell me about this sooner?" I said.
"Any minute, you could die by using that power without your strong will to become the Ruler of our MotherLand" He grabbed my shoulders. "That's why I need you to think carefully, Your Highness'" He looked at me seriously.
And that's when I finally took the biggest responsibility of my life. It Is to get stronger, to fulfill my mission. To defeat my mother, the current Queen. To steal the throne from her.
A few days later, I can now move without feeling any pain in my body. It's all thanks to Archie for healing me with his Regalith.
I started to train myself to get stronger. Day and night I train myself on how to hold a sword, how to defend myself, and how to kill people. I also tried to build confidence within myself. To cope with my feelings. Archie told me that Toshiaki and Mikhail survived that day. That's why, when I meet them someday, I swear to myself that I'm going to protect them at all costs. I'm not gonna regret a thing about choosing them to be part of my life.
