Lenora was back to her bed sooner than later. And although she wanted to leave right away, there was still some time before sunrise.
An hour of sleep couldn't hurt, right?
Besides, Drifus was sleeping and she couldn't just leave behind the elf. So, she closed her eyes to rest a bit and woke up about an hour later.
Yes but no.
She did wake up just not an hour later.
"Lenora," Drifus knocked on the door. "Everything alright?"
Why's he knocking? She sleepily went over to the door and opened it.
So bright… bright? Her sleep left her in an instant as her eyes moistened. "Wh-what time is it?"
"Almost noon," Drifus said. "I was getting worried since you never sleep so late."
Lenora groaned but somehow controlled herself. "We have to go back. Get ready. I'll be out in an hou- in ten minutes."
"Okay."
She locked the door and slowly slid down to the bottom, groaning again, with her head buried in her legs.
