Evan used his Psychic abilities to form a protective shield around himself, ensuring he wouldn't get thrown off during the high-speed flight.

As they flew out of Water City, the ominous dark clouds on the horizon came into view.

The sky was blanketed in black, with swirling winds suggesting a hurricane was imminent.

It was all caused by those two "silly birds."

Seeing the chaos ahead, Evan couldn't help but click his tongue.

"How terrifying..."

But there was no time for hesitation.

He urged Pidgeot to fly even faster, pushing toward Water City as quickly as possible.

Back at the Golden Coast, Violet had already engaged the two Legendary Pokémon.

Metagross and Aegislash darted through the air, trying to fend off Articuno and Zapdos.

Meanwhile, her Aggron, Duraludon, and Empoleon stood guard in front of her, forming a protective barrier to shield her from the battle's effects.

The fight was fierce, and the tension in the air was palpable.

As for Violet, she commanded a Blastoise below to continuously bombard the two legendary birds soaring in the sky.

"Metagross, use Psychic!"

"Aegislash, Sacred Sword!"

Violet kept giving sharp and precise orders.

Above, the two Pokémon attacked the legendary birds. However, Articuno and Zapdos were enraged.

They were in the middle of their battle, but humans below dared to interfere? To them, it was sheer audacity.

The two legendary Pokémon quickly shifted their focus, joining forces to deal with Violet's Pokémon.

Zapdos and Articuno launched a synchronized attack.

Golden light illuminated the sky as Aegislash's Sacred Sword unsheathed and slashed towards Zapdos. Meanwhile, Metagross focused its Psychic energy to strike Articuno.

The Pokémon coordinated their attacks skillfully, one following the other. But Zapdos, with its incredible speed, turned into a flash of lightning using Quick Attack, evading Aegislash's strike effortlessly.

Articuno countered Psychic with a blue beam of ice energy, neutralizing the attack.

Having defended themselves, the two legendary Pokémon launched a counteroffensive against Metagross and Aegislash.

Despite the pressure mounting, Violet remained calm. Her Pokémon battled valiantly in the sky, while the ones on the ground provided support. Yet, it felt as if the tide was not turning in her favor.

Articuno's eyes suddenly gleamed with intensity.

It soared higher, focusing sharply on Metagross. Violet's expression tensed.

"Mind Reader," she muttered.

Articuno had locked onto Metagross. The next attack would undoubtedly hit.

"Sheer Cold," Violet whispered as she braced herself.

Articuno unleashed a frigid Ice-Type beam directly aimed at Metagross.

Without hesitation, Violet shouted, "Metagross, Mega Evolve!"

Her keystone and Metagross's body emitted a burst of radiant, colorful light. The energy from Violet's keystone connected with Metagross, engulfing it in a dazzling glow.

As the light encased Metagross, Articuno's Sheer Cold struck. The powerful, icy attack collided with the radiant shield of Mega Evolution energy.

Bang!

The impact interrupted the evolution process, but Metagross emerged unharmed from the encounter, standing resilient in the sky.

The evolution had failed, but Metagross held its ground.

"Metagross, use Agility and Zen Headbutt!"

"Aegislash, Autotomize, then Gyro Ball!"

Seizing the moment, Violet commanded her Pokémon to counterattack.

As the battle in the skies raged, Violet turned her attention to her other Pokémon.

"Aggron, Heavy Slam!"

"Empoleon, Hydro Pump!"

"Support them!"

Despite the immense pressure, Violet issued orders with precision, maintaining her composure as the fierce clash continued.

Five Pokémon launched their combined assault with precision and determination.

Nearby, Violet directed her Blastoise to fire continuous Hydro Pump attacks, trying to harass the two legendary Pokémon in the sky and relieve the pressure on her allies.

However, their interference only fueled Articuno and Zapdos's fury.

The legendary birds, irritated by the constant disruptions, decided to retaliate.

Aurora Beam from Articuno and Thunder from Zapdos roared toward the group with devastating force.

Witnessing the incoming attacks, Violet and her companion's expressions shifted to alarm.

In the midst of the crisis, one of Violet's Poké Balls snapped open. From it emerged a Venusaur, which immediately countered with a powerful Hyper Beam to intercept the oncoming attack.

Blastoise, loyal to Violet, tried to shield her by pushing her out of harm's way. But the lightning was swift, closing the distance in an instant.

Just when it seemed too late, a Gardevoir suddenly appeared beside Violet.

In a blink, Gardevoir teleported her to safety.

Boom!

The area where Violet had stood moments ago was struck by Zapdos's Thunder, leaving a scorched crater.

Blastoise, who had leapt into action, bore the brunt of the attack, collapsing from its overwhelming power. It fainted on the spot.

Gardevoir, now safely away with Violet, glanced at the unconscious Blastoise, momentarily perplexed by the situation.

This Gardevoir belonged to Evan. As soon as Evan arrived on the scene and saw the chaos, he had instinctively released Gardevoir to rescue anyone in danger.

Moments later, Evan landed near Violet, carried by his Pidgeot. He leapt off and joined Violet and Violet's ally.

"What's going on here?" Evan asked, scanning the sky.

Violet turned to him and urged, "No time for questions. Help us gain control of the situation!"

Meanwhile, Violet, regaining her composure, thanked Gardevoir. "Thanks!" she said earnestly.

Gardevoir nodded before returning to Evan's side, standing ready for further orders.

Evan glanced at the legendary Pokémon still battling above. "Why are Articuno and Zapdos suddenly attacking the city?" he asked, puzzled. "Aren't they supposed to avoid humans?"

Violet shook her head. "I have no idea. I was on vacation, and they just showed up and started fighting." She gestured toward the chaotic sky. "We can speculate later. Right now, we need to handle this!"

Evan nodded and released his own Pokémon. "Gallade, Gardevoir, you're up!"

Then, turning to his Pikachu, he added with a grin, "Pikachu, sit back and learn. This is the kind of battle you dream about."

Pikachu and the other Pokémon regarded the scene with awe. This was no ordinary battle—it was against legendary Pokémon.

Violet, observing Evan's Pokémon, suddenly recognized them. Weren't these the same Pokémon she had seen in a gym challenge? Her eyes widened as realization dawned.

Violet hesitated for a moment, then pulled a small box from her pocket and handed it to Evan.

"Take this," she said firmly. "You'll need it."

Evan was taken aback but opened the box. Inside, his expression turned serious. Something about the contents made him immediately focused.
