(SUZANA'S POV)
I settled into my workspace, reviewing files, when Scarlet arrived with his guards. He approached my desk, his tap on the surface commanding attention.
"I need the new price file on my desk in 10 minutes," he ordered.
I nodded, and Scarlet retreated to his office.
Swiftly compiling the file, I presented it to him exactly 10 minutes later. As I entered his office, he paced while on a phone call.
I stood before his desk, eyes fixed on the camera – a habit formed from past experiences. Scarlet's proximity made me uneasy.
He concluded his call and slid behind me, pressing his body against mine. My eyes closed, disguising discomfort.
Scarlet's whisper sent shivers down my spine: "He's not here anymore, babes. No one's watching now."
He stepped back, his expression transitioning to professionalism.
