They arrived at the restaurant and sat down so they could take their orders. It was a round table so they faced themselves and the whole time, Sirena forced a smile.
Nina couldn't stop talking and it was even more surprising that Sirena caught Alex staring at Nina like he was disgusted and tired. No, he wasn't tired of her already was he? Or did Sirena notice wrongly? That had to be the case. They had to be in love with each other so much to betray her like that.
They finally got their orders and settled in to eat. Sirena was quite hungry since all she had were snacks since the last couple of hours. She was more than happy to eat but she knew she barely had the time.
They kept talking while they ate, with Nina anchoring the conversation. Nina looked so good and chirpy that one would think she was a good person on the surface. It was no surprise that she was adored more since Ayra was laid back and boring, busy in her tech life and marriage.
