Chapter 95 - Showtime

When it comes to preferences, Sean clearly favors Diane Lane over Elizabeth McGovern.

In terms of figure, appearance, and age, Diane Lane undeniably outshines Elizabeth. However, when it comes to bedroom skills, Diane is a bit inexperienced and lacks the variety that Elizabeth offers. Yet, Sean views this as a plus—sometimes simplicity is better.

As for elaborate techniques, he believes it's better to cultivate those oneself.

The following day, around noon, Norris arrived to pick up Diane Lane. Unlike the last time, when Sean merely kissed Elizabeth goodbye, he firmly instructed Norris to take good care of Diane this time.

In the afternoon, Sean decided not to go to the office but instead met Norris at the villa. "I've made a list—take a look," he said, handing over a document.

Norris took the list curiously, noting several names and brief descriptions: Jennifer Lopez from New York, Sophie Marceau, a French actress, Monica Bellucci, an Italian model, Naomi Watts, a British model, and Jennifer Connelly, who played a young Deborah in Once Upon a Time in America. Lastly, he noted Brooke Shields, an American actress.

"Find a way to track them down and sign them if possible," Sean instructed after reviewing the list.

"Brooke Shields is already quite famous," Norris responded, looking a bit sheepish. "Boss, I can only promise to try my best. It might be challenging without your face to help."

Sean raised an eyebrow, sensing something was off. "What did you say to provoke Norris? These are just a few talented individuals I thought would be worth pursuing, not what you're implying!"

Norris looked confused, unsure of where things had gone wrong.

"Stop being ridiculous! I'm looking for talent for the company—think Bruce Willis!" Sean exclaimed, pointing at Norris. "Your mind is clouded with inappropriate thoughts. Just focus on the task at hand!"

Slightly chastened, Norris lowered his gaze but couldn't suppress his internal doubts. He recalled Sean's previous claims of seeking talent, which had led to a night of debauchery.

"Look at their ages! The two Jennifers are underage, and the others might be too young. You know I prefer experienced talent!" he thought bitterly, even as he acknowledged their physical appeal.

Once Sean calmed down, Norris cautiously asked, "What about Jennifer Lopez? The rest of the information is too vague. How can I find them?"

"Why do you think I need you if I've done all the groundwork?" Sean snapped again. "Figure it out on your own! If you can't find a woman, what good are you to me?"

Norris silently grumbled but nodded, promising to leverage his international contacts to connect Sean with attractive talent.

Satisfied, Sean waved him off and urged the three agents to gather the information he required.

Later that evening, Diane Lane returned, looking youthful and vibrant despite her previous day's escapades. As soon as she entered, Sean presented her with a large gift box. Curiously, she opened it to reveal a stunning Dior handmade custom dress—pure white, adorned with stars, and undeniably luxurious.

Diane's eyes sparkled with excitement at the sight of the $6,000 ensemble.

Sean helped her into the dress, marveling at how she looked like an angel in pure white. However, this time, he exercised restraint; after a playful encounter, he knew he had plans for the night.

He wanted to take Diane to a place filled with energy, where they could enjoy the excitement together.

There's a saying that many great thinkers have echoed, but Sean knew it best from his own experiences: how could one visit Los Angeles and not experience the thrill of the Great Western Forum? He was determined to watch Showtime live—witness the legendary magician and see Kareem Abdul-Jabbar perform at 38, still a force in the league.

In his previous life, Sean had longed to watch the Lakers' championship games but had never had the chance. This time, with more time on his hands, attending an NBA game was a must.

Sean bought front-row tickets for his first NBA experience, and the atmosphere at the Great Western Forum was electric. Watching the game live was exhilarating—much different from the confines of a television screen.

On TV, the players' heights and strength were difficult to gauge, but in person, Sean could see just how massive and agile these athletes were. He marveled at how the magician's legs seemed thicker than Diane's waist!

He felt the adrenaline rush as he witnessed the players' speed and power firsthand. The sound of their collisions filled the air, and Sean found himself caught up in the excitement, cheering along with the crowd.

When the camera panned to him and Diane, a stunning duo, he couldn't resist pulling her in for a kiss, prompting another round of cheers from the audience.

During halftime, as Sean relaxed, he thought about another basketball legend—Michael Jordan. At this time, Jordan was just starting his career as a rookie in the NBA. Little did anyone know that he would go on to dominate the sport for years to come.

Thinking of Jordan led Sean to ponder Nike, the future powerhouse in athletic gear. He wondered if Nike had already signed Jordan during his rookie season. Back then, the company was still struggling, on the verge of bankruptcy.

That thought sparked an idea in Sean's mind: could he leverage this moment to get involved with Nike? The more he considered it, the more convinced he became that he needed to find a way to connect with the company.

"Maybe I could create an opportunity for myself as a third party," he mused, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. "If I could get in early, it might lead to something big."

With a newfound sense of purpose, Sean turned his attention back to the game, determined to enjoy the rest of the evening. The thrill of the NBA, combined with his budding business ideas, filled him with an undeniable excitement.

As the game resumed, he cheered for the players on the court, reveling in the energy of the crowd. Diane, equally caught up in the moment, smiled at Sean, her eyes sparkling with joy. They were both living in the moment, surrounded by the thrill of live sports and the possibilities that lay ahead.

Sean knew that this night was not just about basketball; it was about seizing opportunities and making connections that could change his life. And with Diane by his side, he felt ready to take on whatever came next.
