Sean couldn't help but ponder a provocative question:
What if people were always robbing banks?
Of course, there are plenty of other targets besides banks. Jewelry stores, auction houses, art collections, and containers at the pier are all ripe for the picking.
But it doesn't stop there. Kidnapping is also an option.
In fact, many places can be robbed, vandalized, or destroyed, simply to test one's ingenuity!
If only there were more opportunities like this…
What's the term for it?
No market? Then create a market!
No demand? Then create demand!
Where there are bandits, there are soldiers; where there are robbers, there are security guards!
Like yin and yang, they complement each other and are indispensable!
And what is humanity's greatest trait?
Creativity!
In this empty conference room, Sean's imaginative mind began to churn with ideas.
He had a plan, but executing it would require a long-term strategy.
He knew he could lead the team to accomplish this straightforward task, but he couldn't do it alone. After all, he was a serious businessman with his own responsibilities!
Two days sped by, revealing that the gangs entrenched at the bottom still had some influence.
As the saying goes, "Fish look for fish, shrimp look for shrimp, and turtles look for trouble." These gangsters could help identify the robbers hiding in the shadows.
Before long, a lead emerged about two suspects holed up in an abandoned factory to the south.
Sean proposed a collaboration: X Security would coordinate with the police to carry out the arrest. X Security would lead the charge, while the police would handle the aftermath.
It was a fresh start, and there would be no fees involved.
Wells, the police chief, quickly agreed; it was better not to risk his officers unnecessarily.
In the United States, police officers are hired for a specific job, often with low pay. They can't afford to take risks without substantial compensation, and if they get injured or killed in the line of duty, the financial repercussions are immense. Police funding is limited.
Sean didn't expect any financial gain from this collaboration. What he sought was legitimacy—the right to participate in the city's security efforts, paving the way for his visionary idea!
Simultaneously, he could gain practical combat experience on the streets, preparing for future confrontations with crime.
The operation unfolded smoothly. Sean instructed Gracie Gener to drive the modified battlefield command vehicle.
Everyone was equipped with an intercom system attached to their tactical gear, and dynamic headphones were ordered from RB, allowing for seamless communication without hindering movement. This enabled Sean to maintain a small range of command on the battlefield.
However, it wasn't Sean who was in charge; that role belonged to Craigie Wright, a retired warrant officer and expert in urban warfare.
Sean invited Wells to observe the operation, showcasing the combat capabilities of the security company.
Craigie's approach was rather aggressive. He first surrounded the factory with six designated sharpshooters to ensure the robbers couldn't escape. After a few loud exclamations, the two robbers were allowed to flee, prompting one of the sharpshooters to mount an M60 squad machine gun.
After confirming that the gangsters were unwilling to surrender, Craigie ordered the squad to unleash a barrage of firepower. The sound of the machine gun echoed through the factory, as eight operatives advanced in a show of force that felt more like a frontal assault than a feint.
These professionals had superior marksmanship compared to the average police officer, and their firepower was on par with military operations. The sheer volume of bullets left the police in awe.
Meanwhile, four designated sharpshooters flanked the robbers from behind, armed with Mac-10s—small, lightweight submachine guns ideal for close-quarters combat.
In under five minutes, a series of gunfire erupted in the factory, and Sean received word that the targets were neutralized.
"How do you feel about that?" Sean asked, smiling at Wells.
Wells frowned, pointing at the squad's machine gun. "I can only say that this level of firepower should not be in the city. It's terrifying."
"Just so you know, I was considering getting an M134—one of those six-barreled Vulcan cannons that can be mounted on helicopters or vehicles. They're lightweight, have minimal recoil, and can be operated by a single person!" Sean replied excitedly, mimicking the sound of rapid gunfire.
"Forget that idea immediately, you violent maniac!" Wells exclaimed. "That kind of weapon should never see the light of day in a city!"
"Not necessarily! It could be useful for dealing with terrorists!" Sean grinned, spreading his hands in mock innocence.
"This is the United States. No terrorist organization would dare act recklessly here. So that scenario is non-existent," Wells shot back firmly.
"Alright, alright," Sean conceded, shaking his head. He kept his thoughts to himself about the potential threats that could arise in the future.
As they continued their discussion, Sean's team began to withdraw, allowing the police to take over the scene. Bullet casings littered the floor, evidence of the intense exchange—more than 3,000 rounds had been fired. It felt more like a battlefield than a city street.
Yet, for Sean, this was exhilarating.
While Wells harbored his reservations, the officers on the ground were impressed. They had never experienced an arrest operation that was so straightforward. Completing the task felt almost effortless—smoking cigarettes and sharing jokes while they worked.
Future collaborations would be discussed later, but for now, the results were undeniably successful.
Once they returned from the factory, Sean gathered Jonas, Bill, and Armstrong Lewis for a meeting.
Armstrong, one of the five warrant officers who had joined the operation, was skilled in intelligence gathering and analysis.
"Armstrong, I need your expertise. Our security company is expanding, and banks are prime candidates for collaboration. I need you to gather information about banks in Newark, Jersey City, and their surrounding areas," Sean instructed. "This should include addresses, personnel composition, security systems, and cash transfer processes."
"Sure, but relying solely on our security personnel for this task might raise suspicions," Armstrong replied, nodding. "You know we're all soldiers, and our presence might make us seem like we're planning a heist."
Armstrong made a light-hearted joke, and Sean chuckled. "No worries. Let Jonas assist you; he has connections everywhere."
With that, the team dispersed, ready to pursue their next steps. Sean's mind raced with possibilities. The operation had been a success, and he was more determined than ever to forge a new path for X Security.
As the sun set over the city, Sean felt a surge of excitement. The game was just beginning, and he was ready to play.
