Casey felt a wave relief come over her when she said it. Right then, she knew she had truly chosen, and she felt at peace with it. Her expression reflected that peace of mind.
Lena squealed in delight and leaped out of her chair and ran to Casey. She jumped into Casey's lap and hugged her tight, crying with joy and happiness. She lifted her head back and started kissing Casey, planting little kisses all over her face. Casey was giggling and blushing, basking in the show of affection and love.
