Chapter 34 - When Veils Fall, Truth Unfolds.

The morning sun bathes the room in a warm, golden light. The lady, dressed in a simple yet elegant outfit, sits gracefully on the windowsill, her eyes calm and composed. She turns to Riven, who is busily packing his belongings with a focused determination.

"My lord," she begins, her voice steady and respectful. "I have come to report that we have discovered a group of individuals in this area. They possess a most unusual and distinguished red aura."

Riven pauses briefly, his sharp gaze meeting hers. With a nod of acknowledgement, he says, "You can handle it. Determine their intentions."

With practiced ease, she swings her legs over the windowsill and leaps into the open air. Landing gracefully on the ground below, she seamlessly blends into the morning bustle, her form quickly vanishing with the wind. This is just another task in her routine, one she approaches with the same composed efficiency as always. Meanwhile, Riven resumes his preparations, confident in her ability to uncover the truth about the group and their potential involvement in the ongoing situation.

In a secured, high-tech room, the air hummed with a faint energy as the teleporters activated, casting a soft, pulsating glow around the enclosed space. Students, clad in their distinct academy uniforms, gathered in small groups, their expressions a mixture of excitement and nervous anticipation. The room was abuzz with chatter, some discussing their experiences, others making plans for what they would do once they were back on Earth.

Each teleporter, a sleek structure of shimmering metal and intricate circuitry, stood like a gateway to another world. As the students stepped into the teleportation pads, they felt a gentle tug, almost like a whisper of wind wrapping around them.

One by one, the students vanished from the room, their forms dissolving into beams of light that streaked towards Earth. The process was seamless, their departure marked only by a brief shimmer and a soft whooshing sound. The light show was mesmerizing, each beam a different hue, reflecting the individual energy signatures of the students.

As they reappeared on Earth, they found themselves in familiar surroundings, greeted by the comforting sights and sounds of their home planet. The transition was instant, but the thrill of the journey lingered, a testament to the marvel of teleportation technology that bridged the cosmic distance between worlds in the blink of an eye.

For a moment, they stood in silence, absorbing the reality of being back home, before the chatter and laughter resumed, filled with stories of their adventures and the shared excitement of what was to come next. The protected room, now emptied of its travelers, settled back into quiet, ready for the next group of adventurers to embark or return.

In the grand assembly hall of the boarding school, the air was filled with the soft hum of excited chatter. Students, all dressed in their academy uniforms, stood in neat rows, their faces reflecting a blend of relief and anticipation. They had just returned from their teleportation journey, and the recent adventures were still fresh in their minds.

Lauren Monrow, a figure of respected authority at the academy, stepped up to the podium. Her presence commanded immediate attention, and the students quickly fell silent. With a warm smile, she began to speak, her voice carrying clearly through the hall.

"Students," she addressed them with a gentle yet firm tone, "you have all demonstrated incredible dedication and resilience during your recent experiences. To ensure you are well-rested and ready for the challenges ahead, I am granting you two days of rest."

A collective sigh of relief and murmurs of approval spread through the hall. Lauren continued, her tone encouraging and supportive, "Use this time to recharge, reflect on your experiences, and reconnect with your peers. Make the most of these days to relax and take care of yourselves. When you return, we will resume our lessons with renewed energy and focus."

The students, now buzzing with excitement at the prospect of a well-deserved break, began to disperse. In small groups, they chatted animatedly about their plans for the next two days. Some eagerly discussed activities they would engage in, while others simply looked forward to some quiet time to unwind.

Back on the planet, in a shadowy, secluded area, several men stood in a semi-circle in front of a young girl who radiated an air of authority. The dim light from an overhead lamp cast long, eerie shadows on their faces, making the atmosphere tense and foreboding.

The girl, with a calm but commanding presence, looked at them intently. "Did it work?" she asked, her voice steady and filled with expectation.

One of the men stepped forward, his expression determined. "Yes," he replied confidently.

A satisfied smile played on the girl's lips as she took a moment to absorb the confirmation. "Good," she said. "We will execute our plan at midnight."

The men nodded in unison, their resolve unwavering. The gravity of their mission was palpable, and the girl's confidence fueled their determination. As they dispersed into the darkness, the quiet preparation for their plan continued, every move calculated and every decision deliberate, knowing that the coming night would be pivotal.

In a spacious room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a stunning view of the academy grounds, Rosa stood by the window, her phone pressed to her ear. The early morning light flooded the room, casting a serene glow on her focused expression.

Rosa's voice crackled through the line, filled with urgency and concern. "Silver, we have an emergency. A knight has been found... drained of all his blood and dead."

Silver's eyes widened in shock, her grip tightening on the phone. "How did this happen?" she asked.

"We don't know yet," Rosa replied, her tone grave. "We need to act quickly to find out who or what is responsible."

Taking a deep breath, Silver steadied herself. "I will be there," she said firmly.

In an open, expansive area outside the academy, Silver stood before the seven mages, their robes fluttering in the early morning breeze. Her voice was clear and authoritative as she issued a brief command.

"You are to head to Planet Elysium immediately. Investigate the disturbances and ensure the safety of our allies."

The mages nodded in unison, ready for their mission. As Silver finished speaking, a powerful wind began to swirl around her. The mages braced themselves, struggling to stay upright as the wind intensified. With a final, dramatic blast, the wind propelled Silver upward, creating a crater beneath her.

As Silver walked through the grand hallways of the academy, her presence was nothing short of captivating. Her silver hair was elegantly tied up in a ponytail, accentuating her sharp features and radiant beauty. She wore a sleek, fitted outfit consisting of a high-collared tunic with intricate gold embroidery, paired with tailored trousers and knee-high boots. A flowing, dark cloak with gold accents completed the ensemble, exuding both authority and grace.

Students and staff alike couldn't help but stare in admiration, as if they were witnessing a goddess of beauty passing by. Conversations hushed to whispers, and eyes followed her every move, filled with awe and reverence.

Silver's footsteps echoed softly against the polished marble floors, creating a rhythmic cadence that added to the surreal atmosphere. Despite the attention, she remained focused on her destination—the president's office, where Rosa awaited.

The early morning light streamed in through the tall, ornate windows, casting intricate patterns on the walls and illuminating the corridors with a soft, golden glow. The familiar surroundings of the academy offered a sense of comfort and familiarity, but the gravity of the situation ahead kept her pace steady and determined.

As she approached the grand doors of the president's office, Silver did not hesitate. With a swift, decisive movement, she pushed the doors open, bursting into the room without a knock. Inside, Rosa looked up from her desk, immediately recognizing the urgency in Silver's expression.

"Rosa," Silver began, her voice filled with concern, "has any student been harmed?"

Rosa shook her head, her expression serious. "No, all students are safe. But we need to act quickly to prevent any future incidents."

Silver nodded, her resolve hardening. "We must ensure their safety above all else. Summon Robert—" she corrected herself quickly, "I mean Riven. I want to see him.

Rosa paused, her eyes widening in surprise. "Riven? But he's the weakest student. Why him?"

Back in his room, Riven glanced over at his friends Leo, Jasper, and Max. All three had pairs of cotton wool sticking out of their noses, a makeshift solution to stop any further nosebleeds. They sat sprawled on the floor, recovering from the earlier excitement and still buzzing with admiration.

"Did you see Silver?" Leo said, his voice muffled by the cotton wool. "She's like a goddess. Her silver hair, those sharp features... absolutely stunning."

Jasper nodded in agreement. "And that outfit—so regal and commanding. It's like she stepped out of a legend."

Max added, "I've never seen anyone move with such grace and authority. It's like the whole room lights up when she walks in."

Riven smiled at their awe-struck expressions. He couldn't deny that Silver's presence had left a strong impression on everyone. Just as he stood up and made his way to the door, a Knight appeared, his expression serious.

"Riven, you have been summoned by Rosa."

As Riven walked through the academy corridors with the Knight by his side, his mind was a whirlwind of thoughts. He replayed the conversation he had overheard between Silver and Rosa. Damn, she is so loud, he thought, a mix of exasperation and admiration filling his mind. He couldn't shake off the feeling that something significant was about to unfold.

The Knight walking beside him kept stealing glances, his expression a mix of duty and something akin to envy. Riven was well aware of his own striking features—sharp jawline, piercing eyes, and an air of confidence that seemed to draw attention effortlessly. The Knight's occasional side-eye only confirmed what Riven already knew: his appearance often sparked jealousy.

Damn, she is so loud, he thought, as they neared the president's office. The early morning light filtering through the tall windows bathed the hallway in a serene glow.

As soon as Riven entered the room, Silver's eyes widened with a mixture of concern and relief. Without a moment's hesitation, she rushed over to him, her movements swift and graceful. She enveloped him in a tight, heartfelt hug, her arms wrapping around him protectively, as if she were afraid he had been harmed.

Riven stood there, momentarily stunned, feeling the warmth and intensity of Silver's embrace. He could sense the worry in her grip, which took him by surprise, and he awkwardly returned the hug, sensing her deep concern.

Rosa, standing by her desk, watched the scene unfold with an expression of complete surprise. Her eyebrows shot up, and her mouth parted slightly in astonishment. It was out of character for Silver to show such affection, especially towards Riven, who had always been perceived as the weakest student. Rosa's mind raced with questions, trying to comprehend the significance of this sudden display of emotion.

As Silver finally pulled back, she kept her hands on Riven's shoulders, looking into his eyes with a mixture of relief and lingering worry. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice soft but urgent. "I was so worried something might have happened to you."

Riven nodded, still processing the unexpected concern. "I'm fine, Silver. What's going on?"

Silver took a deep breath, her expression turning serious. "That's not for you to worry about, Riven."

Before Riven could respond, Rosa intervened, stepping forward with a look of bewilderment. "Silver, what in the world is going on? Why Riven? This is not a soap opera!"

Silver turned towards Rosa, still holding Riven by his shoulder. Her expression was a mix of resolve and something deeper, almost tender. She took a deep breath, as if steeling herself for what she was about to reveal.

"Rosa," she began, her voice steady, "I guess it's time for you to know. Riven is my brother."

For Rosa, the world seemed to go into slow motion as the words came out of Silver's mouth. Shock and disbelief filled her eyes, her mind struggling to process the revelation. She opened her mouth to respond, her voice barely above a whisper. "Silver, this is not the time for jo—"

But before she could finish, the weight of Silver's words hit her like a tidal wave. She knew when Silver was serious and when she was joking, and this was unmistakably serious. Rosa's knees buckled, and she passed out on the floor, the room spinning around her as darkness took over.
