Essim gazed intently at the system announcement that had just appeared. Each word carried weight, and he paid careful attention to the new rules of the event.
The first thing that caught his eye was the removal of regional boundaries. This meant that every human on Earth could now meet freely. His mind wandered to the powerful figures from the last event—he was curious about their abilities. Deep down, he also coveted the rare items they had earned by ranking in the top three, eager to use his duplication ability to claim their prizes for himself.
Shifting his attention to the system panel, Essim noted the change: regional chat was now replaced with Blue Planet Human Race chat.
[Blue Planet Human Race]
(William Alexander: Supreme Overlord) Earth Paradise Alliance is recruiting anyone with a B-S rank talent. Regardless of country, race, or gender—if you have an A-rank talent or higher, you'll be accepted. S-rank talents will join as core members.
(Bai Qi: Supreme Overlord) Hello everyone. The Eternal Life Sect is open to all. Chinese citizens, join us and receive free level 10 equipment.
(Vladimir Nova: Supreme Overlord) Sovereigns with a total status of over 1000, the King of Hell Alliance is recruiting.
Jack: Awesome, all humans can finally meet. Dad, I'm in region #5622. Add me!
Umami: Cherry Blossom Market is selling high-level medicine. Save your life today!
Seng Hao: Abyssal Vanguard Sect is accepting disciples.
Karuta: Has anyone seen portals appearing on their islands? What do they lead to?
Dili: My friend entered a portal, but he hasn't returned...
Xiao Yu: Why are the top 3 chats glowing? What do those titles mean? Do they give special powers?
Rubert: The rewards for the top 3 are insane. What's it like being at that level?
Most of the chat participants were excited, thrilled that all humans could finally meet, no longer confined by regional divisions. The event had everyone buzzing with conversation. However, the most striking feature of the chat was the three golden messages at the top—reserved for the previous event's top three. Their names were bordered in gold with a dragon emblem, standing out prominently as their chats stayed pinned, unmovable like banners.
Essim sighed. "So much power... so many advantages," he muttered to himself. He couldn't help but remember his own arrogance during the last event, challenging these elite figures without truly understanding them.
"Patience... patience..." he repeated, calming himself. Slowly, the tension eased, and his thoughts shifted to the leaderboard.
[Event Rank Rewards]
Top 1-3: Super Territory Artifact, 100 million crystals, epic chest, ancestral dragon's nest.
Top 4-10: Regular Territory Artifact, 10 million crystals, gold chest, sky griffin's nest.
Top 11-50: 1 million crystals, gold chest, hell monkey's nest.
The rewards were as impressive as always—mythical items with powerful names. He only glanced briefly before sending a message to the 10 core members of the alliance and Aisha, calling for an urgent meeting.
On Life City's northern streets, a small bar bustled quietly with a few patrons inside.
"Mr. Ari, weren't you planning to join the World Market Alliance?" an elderly man asked, sipping his drink.
"I was, but now... I think I'll try my hand at this new event first," replied the man with the long white mustache, his eyes gleaming with excitement.
The old man chuckled, "At your age, competing with those young people? Wouldn't joining the World Market Alliance ensure a good life for your grandchildren?"
"You fool," Ari replied with a mocking grin. "We aren't on Earth anymore. The miracles we see daily don't make sense to someone with an Earth-bound mindset like yours."
"But—"
"Enough. You won't understand. Just keep tending your farm like a robot without a future," Ari quipped.
Their banter continued as old friends do, but there was a hint of seriousness behind Ari's words. In a nearby room, a strong-built woman reported to a man seated behind a large desk.
"All main forces have returned to the city, sir. The portals are appearing randomly in open areas, easy to access," she said firmly.
The old man nodded thoughtfully. "Any movement from the island owners?" he asked.
"Not yet, sir. But it seems a major meeting is about to take place."
The man clasped his hands, resting his chin on them as he pondered the situation. After a moment of silence, he spoke again.
"Accelerate all preparations. We need to investigate the new organizations forming outside our region."
"Yes, sir."
The portals, appearing at random across the islands, were the hot topic of discussion, not just among ordinary people, but within guilds, alliances, and major organizations alike. As the owner of the island, Essim had allowed all these groups to operate freely, confident that their growth would only benefit him in the long run.
World Market Alliance Main Hall
The conference room was grand and spacious, with red-brown walls adorned with intricate carvings. Statues of mythical animals stood at the corners, and the air was thick with the fragrance of rare flowers. A large chandelier hung from the ceiling, casting a soft, majestic glow over the room. The only furniture was a long table with 10 large red chairs and two special black chairs at the head.
Essim and Aisha sat in the two black chairs, while the 10 core members of the alliance sat along the table. Every member was present, knowing full well the gravity of the meeting to come.
