One hour after the opening of Essim Island, more than 10,000 people had already arrived, either using the portal or arriving directly with their own islands.
Aisha had asked Essim several times about the process of managing city land, as many sovereigns had submitted requests to buy or lease land. There were also those interested in investing in Essim Island by providing materials or energy crystals. However, all these requests were politely declined by Essim. He wasn't selling shares of the island; for now, he was only opening land purchases or leases.
At noon, a small island measuring 100 x 100 meters floated serenely through the cloud-strewn sky.
On that small island stood a young man with a light sword in his hand, his gaze both relaxed and resolute. The young man was Essim. He had chosen to use a smaller floating island to search for stone islands inhabited by void monsters, leaving the management of the main island in the capable hands of his sister, Aisha.
His primary objective of establishing an organization to manage trade routes in the Divine Sky Realm had taken its first steps. While the alliance's grand ambitions were still in the making, Essim was confident that they would become a reality in the near future.
Currently, his next goal was to ascend to the top of the event leaderboard. He was eager to discover the leaderboard prizes and the elusive gold chest. Alongside him, Laras and Old Man Haikal had also departed their main islands in pursuit of accumulating more points.
As Essim approached, a stone island with an area of 1200 x 1200 meters came into view. Gradually, the two islands would merge in three minutes.
Essim was prepared. With an average status of 600 points, he was confident he could easily take down 100 protector monsters on the stone island, as well as over 50,000 regular monsters at levels 10-20.
Three minutes passed, and finally, the two islands merged. Without hesitation, Essim charged forward to confront the approaching void monsters.
The void monsters, equally enthusiastic, surged toward him in overwhelming numbers, like a relentless tide.

(Mace Throw) Hurls their mace at the enemy with great force, dealing +25% damage if the enemy's status is lower.
Essim observed the void monsters in various shapes and forms, each possessing unique abilities. However, faced with his vastly superior power, they were no more formidable than fallen leaves swept up by the wind.
[Successfully killed (Ogre Void, level 17), exp +93, kill points +17]
[Successfully killed (Guto Oyo, level 19), exp +107, kill points +19]
...
The sound of kill notifications echoed in Essim's ears, but since his level was already maxed out, his experience points didn't increase at all.
Engrossed in slaying the regular void monsters, Essim soon spotted a protector monster appearing in the distance. This formidable creature resembled a large lion, wielding a fiery staff.
[Fire Lion - Protector]

Type: MagicAttribute: Str 144, Int 187, Agi 171, Res 126
(Fire Aura) Transforms into a red fire form, enhancing attributes by +25% and increasing magic power by 50%, while burning the area within a 10-meter radius.
The lion let out a thunderous roar, belching fire from its mouth and generating an oppressive wave of heat. Essim skillfully dodged, zigzagging to avoid the fire attack. In a swift motion, he leaped high and struck from above, swinging his light sword with full force.
The lion attempted to block with its fire staff, but Essim's assault was too swift. His light sword cleaved through the staff effortlessly, and with a decisive motion, he plunged his sword into the lion's heart. The lion roared in pain before collapsing lifelessly to the ground.
[Successfully killed Fire Lion - Protector, exp +4350, kill points +2000]
However, shortly after the fire lion's demise, another protector monster emerged.
This next creature boasted the head of a shark and had the terrifying ability to create an ocean within a 100-meter radius.
Essim, initially confident, soon found himself in a perilous situation as the shark monster conjured an ocean that ensnared him in water. Struggling to regulate his breathing, Essim searched desperately for an opening to counterattack.
The monster glided swiftly through the water, attacking with its razor-sharp teeth. Essim managed to evade several strikes, but small wounds began to sap his stamina.
In this moment of desperation, Essim decided to employ his second skill, Sky Shattering Slash. With a powerful strike, he unleashed a 100-meter-long sword aura that shattered the shark's defenses. The attack ignored 50% of the enemy's defense and healed Essim for 50% of the total damage dealt. The shark monster was cleaved in two, and the ocean vanished, leaving Essim rejuvenated.
[Successfully killed Red Shark - Protector, exp +4850, kill points +2000]
"Haha… these void monsters possess some bizarre attacks," Essim remarked, catching his breath. He was genuinely surprised by the Red Shark's skill that created an ocean within a 100-meter radius. It would have been fatal if his attributes had matched the shark's.
Essim continued his search for stone islands teeming with void monsters to boost his kill points.
Until nighttime, Essim did not return to the main island, as the journey would take too long. Instead, he camped on the small floating island for the next few days.
Over the course of eight hours from noon until night, Essim cleared hundreds of stone islands. He was now ranked 12th with over 2,500,000 points, while Laras had slipped to 8th place, and Old Man Haikal was in 31st place.
The leaderboard did not reflect exact positions due to the diverse talents and items possessed by the sovereigns.
Before settling down for the night, Essim read several messages from Aisha. She informed him that the main island was growing increasingly busy, with many people planning to settle there. Additionally, some sovereigns had already established their own businesses in the City of Life.
Aisha also conveyed a warning from Laras, advising caution regarding the Garuda Alliance. They had previously attempted to recruit Laras but had been met with a firm rejection. Unlike other alliances, the Garuda Alliance seemed to harbor a grudge against them.
