Chapter 9 - 9. Choosing an Agent 2

Inside the restaurant

While eating the lunch together, Sam thought of what might be the real reason for Elijah's termination of his clients Nick.

After clearing the distracting thoughts in his mind, Sam said," so mr. Smith you might want to give me some time so that I can think this through while I'll call later".

Elijah smiled and nodded, as he did not have any problem with that, for ordinary newcomers, agents are indispensable but for geniuses, they are just there to facilitate the client's requirements.

And Elijah currently needs is not an obedient client but a genius who can help him.

After finishing lunch, both men went their own ways.

Elijah looked at Sam who was driving away and hoped that his bet might be correct.

Sam came back to his house and had a sip of water to hydrate himself and went to take a little bit of rest in his own bedroom.

At dawn.

Sam called the system status in his heart silently.

Name: Sam Sandles

Health: 100/100 (fully recovered)

Skill: Director(low) management(minimal)

FP: 10,000

And there was also my store written at the right side lower corner of the interface on which he clicked softly.

my store is a magical storage space where all of his previous lives movies, television series, animations, songs as well as novels both online as well as offline were stored in.

Even if he might want to count it, he would not be able to do so, as there were innumerable copies that he might not be able to count them in his lifetime.

So he threw all those distracting thoughts in his mind and focused onto see if there was anything good for him to buy at the range of 10,000 FP.

As he was browsing through the list, he came across the movie Home alone part 1 which he saw was sold at 10,000 FP.

But after thinking for a while he dismissed it, as he did not want to add any burden to his first movie by casting a child, which might put pressure in his first film and make it complicated.

And he also crossed the horror movies, as it was February now and he might finish a low cost movie in one or two month and release it by three months the latest, he would have wait at least six to seven months for the Halloween schedule.

At last his gaze fell onto a movie named Golmaal, a low cost Indian comedy film which he might be able to produce at a low cost.

Looking again at the Golmaal , he saw that it had 10,000 FP tag next to it.

So he redeemed it quickly and went to computer to write the screenplay and storyboard for the references which might be needed when directing.

In the meantime, he also informed Charles about his talks with Elijah Smith and asked Charles to see if that guy was genuine agent.

If all things go well then he does not mind having Elijah Smith as his agent because someone who comes to you upfront, means he might have done his research and knows full well about yourself.
