-A Few Minutes Before-
Dr. Lawly dropped all the scalpels from the ceiling, Belle was forced to dodge as Cam blocked them. One scalpel sneaked through and hit Belle in the leg, slicing through his pants and sticking into his thigh.
"Argh!" He cries out in pain. The rest of the scalpels disappear harmlessly on the floor as Belle's wound starts bleeding, and bleeding, and bleeding. It was a small wound so any blood it drew would only be a thin line, but the wound was pouring out a steady stream of blood.
"Do you like my ability? It may not be the most powerful ability but if you hit someone enough times they can easily bleed out." Dr. Lawly states. Belle has enough medical knowledge to know that taking out an object could make it bleed worse, but considering how much it was already bleeding and that the scalpel would hinder his fighting ability, he ripped it out and tossed it to the ground where it disappeared. The blood spurting from his body stayed at about the same level, which is better than increasing.
"Nasty trick you have, guess I just have to finish you off before I run out of blood." Belle taunts. The doctor just smirks and prepares more scalpels. They go flying off and once, forcing Belle to dodge. He weaves through the scalpels, dragging the axe behind him to swing at the doctor, who easily jumps backward. Luckily, Cam swings in with his ropes and pressures Dr. Lawly, letting Belle get closer and swing at him. The swing connects with the doctor's leg, but Belle feels the blade glance off of something. When he glances down, he finds a scalpel between the doctor's leg and his axe, and it's pointing straight at him. The scalpel shoots off and Belle swings to the side, but it grazes his face, blood pouring down the side of his cheek. Cam's ropes tie around the doctor's wrists, but he just pulls them forward causing Cam to go off balance and flip into the floor, phasing through it. The ropes untangle from the doctor's wrists and Cam floats up next to Belle who is wiping his cheek as blood continues streaming down.
"This isn't going very well, is it." Cam points out.
"I wonder what gave you that idea." Belle snaps, his breath is heaving from exertion. He pulls himself together when Dr. Lawly summons more scalpels.
"Is that the best you could do? I thought you would pose more of a challenge." He teases. Belle's eyes dart around the room, looking for some sort of out, a way to turn the situation around. He spots it on the floor, an area in the corner where the floor is slightly bending.
"Cam, could you support me?" He asks the ghost.
"Fine, but whatever idea you have better be a good one." He responds. Cam attacks Dr. Lawly once again, ropes flying out to grab him. The doctor dodges the attacks and returns some with his scalpels. Belle enters the fight and slowly lures the doctor to the corner of the room until he's flying just above it. He's been struck by two scalpels in the process, one in his foot and one in his stomach. He's dizzy from blood loss, but the doctor is right where he wants him. Belle rushes up and acts like he's going to attack with the axe, waiting until the doctor puts his guard up before dropping the axe and tackling him. He drops to the ground heavily, landing on the bending ground. With a CRACK it breaks and he goes tumbling down the with doctor in his hands. He grabs the axe out again as he drops to the floor and swings at him desperately. The attack hits, and slices through the doctor's stomach. He lands on his ass, which hurt, a lot, and stands up quickly. Cam floats down beside him and he turns to find Leslie, the female ghost from earlier, and the tour group watching them. The pain of the fall catches up to him at that moment.
"Shit, that fucking hurt!" Belle groans, and he rubs his back.
"What the hell!" Leslie exclaims as he stares at Belle with a look of utter shock.
"I'll tell you what happened later, first let's fuck this guy up," He says menacingly, cracking his knuckles. Leslie seems to take the cue as he looks past Belle at Dr. Lawly, who is floating up while staring at his chest in shock.
"I didn't expect that, perhaps you have outdone yourself, but it won't happen again." He says coldly, glaring at everyone. They all rush at the same time, Belle with his axe, Cam with his ropes, Leslie with his knife, and the female ghost shoots out a burst of wind. Belle didn't know when she joined their side but he appreciated their help. The collective attack barely works on the doctor as he easily blocks and dodges their attacks. Cam's ropes fly at him but his scalpels easily block them off. He floats over the wind blast and dodges away from the knife and axe strikes, but Belle doesn't let up, swinging his axe again and again as scalpels fly at him, embedding into his body. He shoves his body forward and strikes the doctor in the arm, leaving a clean slicing mark but not cutting the arm off. Belle collapses to the ground as the doctor pauses in place. His head is dizzy and his vision is blurry, he feels like he's about to pass out but he forces his eyes to stay open. A chill passes over Belle and he hurriedly glances at the source. It's Dr. Lawly, his eyes are shaking and his shoulders are heaving from the heavy breaths he's taking.
"I can't be defeated, I-I still haven't gotten what I deserve." He mumbles to himself. Belle can barely make out what he's saying from where he's kneeling on the ground. 'This must be the effect of my axe' He thinks, noticing the strange change in the doctor's demeanor.
"Things might have just gotten a bit complicated." He mutters as the doctor produces twice as many scalpels as before, all of them aiming toward Belle and the group.
