Valentina's POV
I cannot believe these brothers have been playing with their lives all this time, I mean how could the Mafia Don,the man that rules all of Mexico city have such lazy men.
I decided to look around the house and I can say it is so beautiful and huge,from where I am standing I can see a lot of beautiful flowers and a vineyard. I cannot believe I actually feel at peace standing in a place where I could be killed at any time.
I have been wondering if my sister is safe and how she is doing but I know it will be a bad idea to ask the brothers.
" You look so deep in thought, are you considering escaping and breaking our deal?" Mateo said walking towards me
As I stare at him I cannot help to wonder how a man can be so handsome and perfectly made.
"Earth to Valentina,i know I am hot but you don't need eye fuck me" Mateo said smirking.
Oh my God! How could he say something like that so casually.
" Well I am not eye fucking you and there will be no form of fucking between us" I said sarcastically.
"Never say Never" he said.
What does he mean by that? Does he find me attractive like I find him attractive? I need to focus on the fact that I might get killed by these people.
"Please could you tell me if my sister is safe? I just want to know so that I will be at peace" I said
He looked at me dead in the eyes like he was searching for something he lost .
" Your sister is safe,I made a deal with you to protect her and a Don never goes back on his words" he said reassuringly
I don't know why but i trust him so much.
From where i was standing I looked up to look at his eyes but was surprised to see a red dot on his forehead.
Before thinking of anything my first instinct was to protect him. I pushed him down and the bullet hit the window at our back.
We both moved on our knees into the room then Angel and Diego burst into the door which wasn't a good idea because the sniper might still be in position waiting for another opportunity.
" Get down immediately" I yelled at both of them.
They both went down and Angel brought out his telecom and ordered the other person on the line to search for the assassin in the east wind.
We all moved to another place where we were not exposed to any windows and I tried evaluating the situations.
I remember from the map that if a person was to leave the east wing they would go through the west wing but if I was to try escaping from the east wing i would go through a tunnel that leads to the south wing and find my way out from there.
I grabbed the telecom from Angel and said to the person on the other end
" Donot go through the west wing,there is a tunnel that goes through to the south wing stand guard there,I am on my way"
I started running towards the place and the brothers also ran towards the direction of the south wing.
We got there just in time when the assassin was coming out of the tunnel and Mateo landed a punch on his face bringing him to a stop.
Angel cuffed the man and put him in a kneeling position, it was at this very moment that the soldiers ran in panting.
I just looked at the soldiers and shook my head in disbelief because if we hadn't ran here they would have missed him.
Mateo on the other hand was really angry and yelled at the soldiers " is this the time you are supposed to be here? If we hadn't ran here ourselves he would escaped, you all have become lazy, you are all panting like lost sheeps because you ran a little? I am so ashamed to call you my soldiers,you are supposed to be the ones keeping me safe but I guess I am the one now protecting you "
They were all shivering and muttering " Sorry Don this would never happen again "
Mateo walked off angry and Angel took the man to the dungeon.
I knew there would be a dungeon in this house but I never knew it would be this deadly.
Shivers ran down my spine when we walked into the dungeon. This place is equipped with whatever you can think of that can be used to inflict pain on a person.
I already feel bad for this man and at the same time I am glad they didn't bring me here.
Angel tied the man to an electric chair and started questioning him
" Who are you and who sent you?" Angel asked
The man was quite,I guess he wasn't ready to confess who sent him.
" I ask again who sent you?" Angel yelled punching him
I winced when Angel hit him because I could literally feel the pain from where I was standing.
The man yelled in pain and said " I do not know the person who sent me, someone just dropped a mail in my house with money and instructions on killing you "
This man might actually be telling the truth because I have also be sent on jobs through that means.
Angel continued to torture him until he couldn't even yell again, believe me when I say Angel is a Demon.
Mateo walked into the dungeon and asked me to follow him.
When we got outside the dungeon he said" Thank you for saving my life today"
Well I am surprised a Mafia Don will ever say thank you but I can actually see that he meant it.
" No need to thank me afterall we made a deal and I need you alive to keep my sister safe " i said
That was partially true though,I don't know why but I feel like it would hurt me if he was hurt.
He just smiled at me and said " Regardless,thank you I appreciate it"
He walked off and I could not help but admire his fine ass.
I guess I am going nuts because I shouldn't be admiring such a dangerous man.
