Two different souls bonded by one heart
Eli and Nutella, born in different backgrounds with different ambitions and aspirations
Eli was born into a rich family where he got whatever he wanted,
Nutella is born into a rich family but not as wealthy as Eli's family but she was happy. Her family cared more about a happy home than gaining more wealth, they were content with whatever they had, at early stage they raised Ella to be humble and content with what she had, Ella's dream has always been to do things that make her family happy in return for the happiness they have given her.
Ella and her family went to the park and they happened to meet Eli's parents, Ella's dad was close friend with Eli's mom when they were in college, because of their families bond, they were arranged to get married but both opted out because there was no love and they both wanted a marriage with love so they stayed friends till they graduated and they took different paths
"It's been a long time Roland" Eli's mom said
"Indeed it has Bertha" Roland said
Bertha was so happy to see Roland, he was the only friend she had and he was always there for her they were so close that their parents thought they were dating and arranged their marriage
"Bertha meet my wife Sandra and my daughter Ella" Roland said
"Wow nice to meet you such a lovely family" Bertha said
"Well, meet my husband mike and my son…where's he?"
"He went with the nanny to get fruits" mike said and greeted Roland and his wife
Roland wanted to excuse themselves but Bertha insisted they spent the day together and Roland couldn't refuse
He sat with them and Bertha couldn't stop talking about the olden days,
Ella was playing with some of the kids, Eli bumped into her
"I am sorry, did I hurt you?" Ella said
Eli was so angry but that girl's voice was nice he looked at her and he found her beautiful, he ran to his moms side and she introduced Roland and Sandra to him, his eyes was still on Ella
"And who's that?" He pointed at Ella
"That's Ella Roland's and Sandra's daughter" his mom said and he smiled
Ella was tired and sat with her mother to eat
They spent time together and both families left to their homes
At night when Bertha was putting his son to sleep they had a little talk
"Eli I saw you looking at my friends daughter any chance you got" Bertha just wanted to tease him
"Mom she's very beautiful" Eli said
"Oh you like her!!!"
"Mom I don't know what you're talking about but if it's a good thing then yes I do" Eli said
Eli wished to see her again and he did
His mom went to the supermarket and asked the driver to bring Eli there after school, he went to the children's section and he met Ella
He saw her from afar in the toy store, with smiles he ran towards her.
When he got there, he just stood there and looked at her. Ella noticed and
"Hey why are you staring at me like that?"
"Can we be friends" Eli asked
"My mom said I shouldn't talk to strangers" Ella said
"But I am not a stranger, our parents know each other" Eli said
"How could you know?"
"We met at the park, how could you forget me? That's not nice" Eli said
Ella heard her name
"Sorry I need to go and I am sorry to offend you" Ella said and about to leave when
"Hey!! What's the name of your school and what class are you" Eli asked and out of politeness Ella answered
He ran to his mom side and they went home
At night he had a talk with his mom
He asked about her school
"Boys do attend that school why?" Bertha said
"Nothing"
"So how was school" Bertha asked
"Good.... Mom I met your friends daughter at the supermarket"
"Why didn't you tell me? How was she?"
"She's alright but she didn't even remember me and I was upset about it"
"You're seven how can you talk like that?" Bertha said
"Mom¡¡ I don't want her to forget me" Eli said and Bertha laughed it off,
