After waiting on Doshar Beach for ten days—long enough that Yeyin had to go fishing himself to keep everyone fed—he finally saw several Navy warships approaching.
"This is way too slow, isn't it?" Yeyin muttered in frustration.
Not only had they wasted his time, but they'd almost starved him and everyone else in the process.
Half an hour later, a few Navy officers boarded Yeyin's ship.
Seeing the irritated expressions of everyone on board, even Garp's face twitched a bit, not sure what to say.
"Teacher, were you planning to let me starve out here?" Yeyin grumbled as he slowly approached Garp.
"Uh… Borsalino, go bring over all our extra food," Garp immediately ordered.
After hearing Garp's command, Borsalino muttered, "What a bother…" but went to get to work.
"You were nearby, so how much do you know about what happened here?"
"Why did the Viper Pirates attack the Celestial Dragons?"
"What direction did they escape in...?"
"Give me information, and I'll give you some trash."
Seeing that Yeyin was completely ignoring him otherwise, Garp sighed in resignation.
"I already captured the members of the Viper Pirates," Yeyin replied.
"As for why they attacked the Celestial Dragons, I don't know."
"The situation is as you see it. Those over there are the slaves, and the pirates are locked up in our brig."
At the mention of trash, Yeyin immediately began talking.
After he finished, Hina brought the captured pirates onto the deck.
"Hahaha, as expected from my disciple! You even managed to handle this!" Garp laughed heartily, feeling very proud.
At his age, nothing made him happier than seeing an outstanding young person achieve great things.
Especially since both his son and grandson were now on opposing sides from him.
"Teacher, the things I asked for."
Yeyin didn't buy into the flattery and was more interested in practical things.
"Everyone, bring over all the items I prepared!" Garp commanded.
As the warships docked and the gangway was set up, countless Navy soldiers carried boxes and bags onto the ship.
"The bags contain gifts I prepared for you," Garp explained.
"The boxes hold food."
"As for what I just promised, when you come back, you'll definitely be satisfied!"
Garp pounded his chest in assurance.
After all, this disciple of his not only had outstanding talent, but was wise, strategic, and had a flawless character.
Except for a quirky little habit, he was nearly perfect!
So, as his teacher, what more could he ask for?
"Thank you, Teacher."
"Hina, hand over the prisoners to them."
"And then arrange for the cook to prepare a meal, so everyone can have a good feast!"
After stowing away the trash bags, Yeyin turned to Hina and said.
"Understood," Hina responded and quickly set things up.
"Teacher, you and…"
"Yeyin, you know about this," Garp interrupted.
"We have to take these people back to Marineford for a public execution."
"Those guys are very particular about their image."
Garp knew that if they stayed to eat, Yeyin would probably rope him into helping with trash disposal again.
Plus, they really had urgent business that couldn't wait!
