Yeyin didn't even think about it and directly refused.
With his current strength, if he were to encounter someone like Shiki the Golden Lion, Doflamingo, or Big Mom out on the seas, he would be done for, wouldn't he? That cloak of justice is not something so easily worn.
Instead of heading out to fight, it's better to stay here.
There's plenty of strong people's trash to pick up.
When he has nothing to do, he can chat with little Gion, and when he's bored, he can use Garp's name to 'intimidate' others into throwing away some trash.
What a wonderful life this is!
Plus, there's very little trash on the sea. Other than getting the source of life from Sea Kings, there's really nothing to look forward to!
As for eliminating evil? That's not his dream.
"If you join the Navy, I'll promise you one thing," Zephyr said helplessly.
He knew how many people in the Navy wanted to be part of his training camp! Once you graduate from there, you're basically guaranteed to start as a lieutenant commander.
The exceptional ones, like Kuzan, can even start as a rear admiral.
But Yeyin? This guy is a total monster.
"Promise me something?" Yeyin responded. "Sure, every time I complete a mission, I need you to collect at least three pieces of trash from every navy officer of rank admiral or above in headquarters for me."
Yeyin smiled mischievously as he said this.
Zephyr was stunned upon hearing Yeyin's request.
"Is that it?" Zephyr asked slowly.
"Yeah, that's it. Oh, and make sure the Fleet Admiral's trash is included too!" Yeyin added.
"Hahaha, that's nothing!" Zephyr laughed heartily and led Yeyin away.
As Yeyin left, Carlot breathed a sigh of relief.
Although having Yeyin around meant they had less work to do, but this guy was always threatening lieutenant commanders and rear admirals. Their hearts could barely take it!
After arriving at the training camp, Garp was already waiting there.
"Convinced him, huh?" Garp asked. "But something's off... this kid isn't the type to be easily convinced."
Zephyr relayed Yeyin's request.
"Hahaha, that's so like him!" Garp laughed. "But—"
"Master, let's go have some tea with your old friend Sengoku first!" Yeyin interrupted.
Upon hearing this, Garp fell silent.
Originally, he thought bringing Yeyin to pick up trash would be simple, but how could they show up and have everyone know they were there for trash?
After a while, even Garp started to feel embarrassed when facing his old friends.
Three months later, Garp took the opportunity to flee under the guise of a mission.
After finally enduring until Yeyin was about to set sail, now the guy pulled this stunt again.
"I'm out," Garp said. "I just came to check on you. I'm heading out to catch some pirates now!" After saying this, Garp ran off.
Seeing Garp's retreating figure, Zephyr started to worry.
For someone who could scare even Garp, this kid was really...
"Tch, no sense of responsibility as a teacher," Yeyin muttered.
Hearing his complaint, Zephyr chuckled awkwardly.
Looks like it's best to send him out to sea quickly, or else I'll end up like that too.
