Isabella stood still staring at the biggest leading company in New york with a new found nervousness and anxiousness seeping within her"Expected nothing less from a company like this but this is on another new level" Squeaked isa in her thoughts.
"My future awaits me and there is no going back from here" breathing in a good amount of air, Isa walks into the building with the few minutes remaining before the interview.
Within the building, the workers' area is a harmonious blend of functionality and comfort, featuring an open-plan office space with ergonomic workstations, natural light, and vibrant greenery. Employees can unwind in a cozy break area with a coffee bar and a small indoor garden, striking a balance between work and relaxation.
Isabelle walked into the lobby which was a lot spacious and a modern reception area with sleek, polished-floors and elegant furniture with botanical gardens placed in different sections of the floors. The polished-Floor looked clean with no speck of dust and so do the workers as you expect no less from the F&B skincare.co organization.
Isabella walked up to the stylish and welcoming desk of the receptionist who is a petite young lady who wore a very welcoming smile to every customer" Good morning ma, please I'm here for the interview of new recruitment" Isabella told the lady.
"Good morning too and please may I know your name?" The receptionist replied with a smile taking her eyes off the system in front of her.
"Oh yes, I'm Isabella Carpenter from Texas uhm, studied Business Administration with a Bsc. Degree" Isabella rambled out
"Ok, well all i need is your name as we already have your info from your University, please have a seat in the guest corner and I'll notify you when you're being called" The receptionist told her with a smile and guided her in the direction she could wait.
"Thank you very much" Isa thanked her before heading to sit, becoming aware of her outfit as she stands out compared to the workers and customers in the building.
After a while the receptionist called for her attention "Miss Carpenter your presence is needed at the top floor, look to the right and take the elevator to the last floor another attendant will lead you to the interview room" The receptionist told her respectfully which isabella was grateful for as the receptionist treated her well. With that Isabella walks to the elevator and sees the last floor is far away as it is on the 20th floor of the building.
Ding* Isabella walks out of the elevator and is greeted by a beautiful mid-aged woman whose eyes are still vibrant and holds life in them, she is slim and not well endowed but gives off elegance and modesty. "Good morning, I'm Gloria the Human resource manager and assisting PA to the CEO, please walk this way with me" The woman said with a solemn and soothing voice which makes Isabella feel less nervous.
"Good morning, I'm Isabella Carpenter and thank you for assisting me," Isabella told her truthfully .
" It's alright and yes The CEO will be interviewing you himself and he is not in the best of mood so do well to give it your best, answer honestly and you will be ok. Understood?" Gloria told her.
"Yes ma and thank you for the head start" Isabella said, still surprised that the CEO himself is handling the interview " impress and give it your best, this is another obstacle i will overcome" she said to herself. While they approach isabella finally find time to take in the structure of the hallway which is a luxurious corridor with plush carpeting, little bits of artwork adorning the wall, soft lighting creating a warm ambiance as it's a quiet space with very little beings present in this side of the building walking pass elegant doors leading to various executive offices until they arrived at the last office.
At the top of the building, the CEO's office which is where Isabella stood facing a grand door, made of rich mahogany wood, with a shiny brass doorknob that gleamed in the softlight of the hallway. Isabella could feel a sense of importance and prestige emanating from it. Zoning out, she came back when Gloria knocked on the door and sought permission.
"Come in" the voice deep and commanding yet with a hint of warmth and charm that made Isabella's stomach feel in a way.
With that Gloria pushed the door open and Isabella finally saw a new path in her life that will change her forever.
