Chapter 62 - Subject of interest

Mirabella hesitated, partly guessing the reason for the king's presence. She began to wonder if he was truly the king of Dusthaven because, if so, he must be the most idle king in history.

Upon seeing his little egg, Gideon approached her and asked worriedly, "Pipo said Lady Elvessa invited you for a tea party. Is everything alright?"

Mirabella fought the urge to express her grievances, knowing the king was intently watching them. It seemed that not even the smallest detail escaped his attention.

"Yes, a tea party with no tea," she muttered under her breath.

"Huh?" Gideon asked, confused, but she shook her head and moved toward the camels tied to the ropes held by her crew. She greeted them warmly and gently caressed the nearest camel.

"Are we going to ride the camels?" she asked excitedly, recalling the sight of people riding camels during their journey from Windspear to the capital.
