"Obviously. You didn't mean to pluck the flowers from the garden, burn my book, sleep on my bed, and now there is a crack in my chain." Eros shook his head in disapproval.
Glancing at the king, Mirabella regret boarding the ship against Gideon's wishes. If she had stayed obediently at home, her series of crimes would have amounted only to pluck flowers in the garden. But now, this cracked chain solidified her future behind the bars.
