"That was for you to feed Pipo, My Prince," Mirabella stated calmly.
Kael's cheeks reddened in embarrassment, and he let out an "Oh." But what could he do? The banana that went down his throat wouldn't come back to his hands.
He looked at Mirabella for a solution. Mirabella smiled and handed him another bunch of bananas. Kael took the bunch and started feeding Pipo one by one, but Pipo, losing patience, snatched the banana from Kael's hand, leaped to the crow nest of the ship, and began eating. He tossed the peel carelessly into the sea.
Kael looked dumbfounded at the monkey's action and frowned.
"Pardon me, Prince. He must be hungry," Mirabella said, bowing her head.
"My name is Kael Vandari. You may call me Kael. Honorifics are unnecessary, My Lady," Kael murmured courteously as he took her hand and kissed the top.
