John continued, "The Destroyers actually have a master, who is the strongest being in the universe. The Destroyers refer to them as Angels."
"Master, Angels?" Goku murmured, looking a bit dazed.
Seeing Goku's expression, John felt a pang of sympathy and hesitated to continue. Just as he was debating whether to proceed, Goku's expression suddenly became clear again.
Goku exclaimed loudly, "It looks like I need to train even harder! If I get the chance, I definitely want to fight against the Destroyer and the Angels!"
Watching Goku bounce back from his previous disappointment, John realized that his earlier concerns were unfounded; with someone like Goku, it was hard to keep him down for long.
Since Goku had recovered, John decided to impart a bit more knowledge to him.
John continued, "Goku, Angels are not the strongest beings either."
Hearing this, Goku, who was trying to motivate himself, fell flat on the ground in disbelief and complained, "John! Can't you just tell me everything at once? Who's stronger than the Angels?!"
John smiled and replied, "Angels are indeed the strongest beings in our universe. However, the universe isn't just ours; there are many other universes out there. Each universe has its own Destroyers and Angels."
"And above the Angels is the Grand Priest, and above the Grand Priest is Zeno!" John emphasized when mentioning Zeno.
Goku immediately picked up on John's tone and asked, "Is Zeno the strongest in the universe?"
John nodded and said, "Yes, Zeno is indeed the strongest in the universe because all universes were created by him. He doesn't understand martial arts or use any energy."
"But with just a thought, he can erase all universes along with all living beings within them."
"Remember, it's just a thought—not a technique or secret skill. If you had to describe it, it would be more like a law."
"Laws?" Goku looked puzzled; he couldn't even grasp transforming into a Super Saiyan yet—the concept of laws was beyond his comprehension.
John smiled and said, "You don't need to understand that right now; just remember not to anger Zeno. Otherwise, not just you but everyone in the entire world and universe would suffer."
Goku nodded blankly but quickly regained his composure and said: "John! Those Destroyers, Angels, and Zeno seem too far away from us. Let's focus on transforming into Super Saiyans first and take it step by step."
With that said, Goku extended his hand towards John.
John nodded; what he admired most about Goku was his optimism and confidence. No matter how powerful an enemy he faced, he always believed he could overcome them. That's why so many people liked Goku.
"Alright then! Let's work hard together starting from becoming Super Saiyans," John said as he firmly shook hands with Goku.
Thus, within the Room of Spirit and Time, they both poured their hearts into training. However, they struggled to find that extreme anger combined with clarity needed for transforming into Super Saiyan.
In the end, after using up all their Senzu Beans and exhausting their time in the Room of Spirit and Time without achieving transformation into Super Saiyan...
Looking at Goku who had grown into an adult version of himself over this time,
John said: "Goku, it seems that transforming into Super Saiyan requires a specific trigger; it's not something that can be easily achieved. Now we've spent two years training here."
"Although our physical injuries were healed by Senzu Beans, we still faced considerable mental pressure during this time—this might be why we couldn't transform into Super Saiyans."
"Since our time is up now, let's head out first. We can relax with our friends; perhaps in that relaxed state we might find an opportunity to break through to Super Saiyan," John concluded with a smile.
In truth, both John and Goku knew that this possibility was slim; after all, achieving Super Saiyan required an extreme state of calm anger. How could they possibly break through while feeling happy and relaxed?
The two walked out of the Room of Spirit and Time one after another. God and Mr. Popo had been waiting outside for them.
Although they had only been apart for two days in real time, John and Goku had spent two years inside; now John appeared more mature than before—entering what could be considered a prime age for a Saiyan.
Goku had also transformed from a boy into a young adult—though his face still retained some youthful features.
God and Mr. Popo attempted to sense their energy levels to gauge how much stronger they had become but found nothing unusual—it felt as if they were just two ordinary people.
However, upon closer inspection, they realized that their energies resembled vast oceans or skies—boundless and unfathomable.
With a smile, John said to Mr. Popo: "Mr. Popo! Could you prepare us a big meal? Neither of us knows how to cook very well; our meals over these two years have been quite lacking."
Mr. Popo paused for a moment after hearing John's request but quickly agreed: "No problem! Just wait here; I'll prepare a feast right away."
John hurriedly reminded him: "Mr. Popo! Make sure to prepare plenty—more is better! We both have quite large appetites."
"Got it! Don't worry! There's plenty of food in the temple—I personally sourced everything fresh!" Mr. Popo responded loudly before disappearing through the temple doors.
God looked at their tattered clothes—especially Goku's—whose outfit had become completely ill-fitting due to his growth spurts leaving only minimal coverage over sensitive areas.
So God kindly asked: "Do you need me to get you both some new clothes? Your current outfits are far too ragged; they're practically unwearable."
Goku immediately responded with excitement: "Can you?!"
"Of course! No problem at all! Would you like them in the same style as before?" God stepped closer to Goku and raised his right hand above him as he asked.
"Absolutely!"
Then God used his magical powers; with a whoosh sound, Goku found himself dressed in a new martial arts uniform—though instead of the turtle symbol on it now was one representing God.
God then approached John as well and helped him change into new attire too.
After they finished changing clothes, God eagerly looked at John and Goku asking: "How did your training go? Why can't I sense your energies?"
John smiled back: "Don't worry about it, God! We can handle King Piccolo without any issues now! As for why you can't sense our energies—that's because we've learned to control our energies very well."
"We're able to contain all our excess energy within ourselves so you can't feel it."
