Seeing his master Yamcha defeated, Puar rushed over in distress, shouting, "Yamcha!"
Yamcha, holding his mouth in pain, looked at the small figure in front of him who was smug from the victory and said, "You all wait; this isn't over."
After saying that, Yamcha quickly flew away with his sidekick Puar.
They turned behind a large rock, and Puar anxiously asked, "What should we do now, Yamcha?"
Yamcha thought for a moment and replied, "Since I can't beat them, we'll follow them and look for an opportunity."
"From what happened last night, it seems we're not the only ones looking for the Dragon Balls. There's another group hiding in the shadows. We just need to wait for them to clash and then take advantage of the situation."
After saying this, Yamcha smiled smugly, though his teeth were a bit loose.
John had no intention of killing Yamcha, so he let them leave. He and Goku returned to the car to wake Bulma and Oolong.
Bulma rubbed her head where she had been hit and asked, "What happened? What just took place?"
John briefly explained what had happened earlier. Instead of blaming Yamcha for firing the RPG at her, Bulma scolded John for not waking her up, missing her chance to meet her desert prince.
John was speechless; he realized that whether in the real world or the Dragon Ball world, girls tended to have double standards.
After checking the car and finding it completely wrecked, John took out another capsule car and set off toward Fire Mountain with everyone.
However, they did not notice that not far behind them, Yamcha was also driving a car following closely.
John soon arrived near Fire Mountain and spotted a tall mountain engulfed in raging flames from afar.
True to its name, Fire Mountain's blazing flames made John and his companions sweat profusely. In no time, their clothes were soaked with sweat and then dried out by the heat.
Bulma pulled out the Dragon Ball radar, hoping that the Dragon Balls were not inside Fire Mountain. Unfortunately, when she activated it, she was disappointed to find that the Dragon Balls were indeed within Fire Mountain.
Bulma asked John, "What should we do? Should we have Goku ride the Flying Nimbus to take a look?"
John shook his head and said, "There's no need. The Dragon Balls are definitely in Ox-King's castle. Even if Goku could fly up on the Nimbus, he wouldn't be able to enter; he would only get burned by the flames."
"To get the Dragon Balls, I think we must extinguish the fire on Fire Mountain first."
While John and Bulma discussed how to put out the fire on Fire Mountain, Oolong nervously said, "Shouldn't we just leave? I feel like Ox-King is watching us from nearby!"
Bulma dismissed his concerns and said confidently, "What are you afraid of? We have Goku and John; why should we fear Ox-King?!"
Just as Bulma finished speaking, an axe flew towards them with a vicious wind.
John quickly pushed Bulma down while Goku pulled Oolong aside.
With a loud crash, a massive axe embedded itself into the wall behind them, sending bricks flying everywhere.
Bulma looked at the giant axe lodged above her head and was instantly terrified; if John hadn't pulled her down just now, her head would have been crushed by that axe.
John looked towards where the axe had come from and saw a huge shadow slowly emerging from the dust.
Judging by its height of over four meters and its massive physique exuding immense pressure with each step causing tremors in the ground. The figure was clad in armor and wore a horned helmet.
Ox-King shouted loudly: "A bunch of thieves trying to steal my treasures! You will die!" After saying this, he charged forward several steps and grabbed his giant axe off the wall.
John quickly explained: "Ox-King! We're not here to spy on your treasures; we just want to find one Dragon Ball."
"What Dragon Ball? Anything in my castle is mine; no one can spy on it!" After saying this, Ox-King swung his axe at John.
At that moment, Goku jumped out and swung his Power Pole at Ox-King.
Ox-King had no choice but to change tactics; he raised his giant axe to block Goku's attack. Then he recognized Goku's Power Pole and his previously angry expression softened.
Ox-King retracted his axe and pointed at Goku's Power Pole while asking: "Where did you get this Power Pole?"
Goku was taken aback but honestly replied: "This was left to me by my grandpa."
"Your grandpa? What is your grandpa's name?" Ox-King continued questioning.
Goku answered: "My grandpa's name is Son Gohan."
"Son Gohan! You are Son Gohan's grandson! This is wonderful! I was your grandpa's disciple. Back then I trained under Master Roshi alongside your grandpa; your grandpa was my senior brother while I was his junior." Ox-King said happily.
"Eh? Master Roshi? Who is that?" Goku didn't realize that Master Roshi was indeed his grandpa's teacher so he momentarily didn't know who Ox-King referred to as his grandfather's master.
At this moment John reminded him: "Goku! Master Roshi is Kame-Sennin."
"Eh!" Goku exclaimed in surprise. "So the Kame-Sennin I met before is actually my grandpa's teacher!"
"You've met Master Roshi?!" Ox-King was even more astonished.
Goku nodded: "Yes! The old man Kame-Sennin even gave me a Flying Nimbus!"
"The Flying Nimbus! That's fantastic!" Ox-King exclaimed joyfully. Then he grabbed Son Goku's shoulder and earnestly said: "Goku! Can I ask you for a favor?"
Given his connection with his grandfather, Goku readily agreed without hesitation. With a serious face he asked: "Uncle Ox-King! What do you want me to do?"
Ox-King looked up at Fire Mountain engulfed in flames and said: "This place wasn't originally called Fire Mountain. One day suddenly flames erupted from beneath it; not only did they surround the entire peak but also my castle making it impossible for me to return home."
"But Master Roshi has a Banana Fan. With one wave it creates wind; with two waves it extinguishes fire; with three waves it brings rain. As long as I have that Banana Fan with me I can put out the fire on Fire Mountain and return to my castle. Of course you will also be able to get your desired Dragon Ball."
