In the poorly lit room, he saw silhouettes of persons on the elevated desk. It looked like a courtroom for convicting the criminals. His arms were weary with the heavy chains that held them.
Xin was confused as to what was happening. Questioning himself and the persons that he was looking at.
"Do you think he will become the mass murderer?" said a female voice. Slightly aged but not yet in the forties.
"Can we stop him if he will kill us all?" asked another old man's voice.
"We can, we have Kiyoshi with us. He can stop the Dark Lord if he wants to," said another elderly.
"You! What is your name?" asked the one in the middle. His shilloueth was emanating with aura.
"I am Xin Taejin," Xin responded in a resolute voice.
"Xin Taejin, you are sentenced to death. Your execution will be held tomorrow morning. Any last wish?" he said in a resonating voice.
"What? Why?" he asked.
"Xin, good name. Let me explain it to you. You possess the greatest weapon that humanity has imagined. Whether you use it to eradicate humanity or help us in our predicaments is up to you. Now may I ask? Are you with us or not?" he asked.
"Me? Of course, I am with humanity! Believe me!" Xin felt alarmed. His sweat became like beads and dropped to the floor.
It was then, that one of them raised his hands, "Hmmm, let me supervise him." a man with long-sleeved robes that had a headband on his head said.
"Kiyoshi? You volunteer?" the elder asked him.
"Yes, I will stop him in case. Anyways, I am his assigned executioner so it will help to be under my watch always," he said with ease and confidence.
"Why? Because I'm the strongest," he said.
"We won't question your competence but is it okay for him to roam around? He is a walking disaster," asked the elder.
He immediately appeared on Xin's back and stomped his head. Making Xin kiss the floor involuntarily.
Xin then gritted his teeth and wanted to curse his current situation. All he could do was bow his head.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Xin agitatedly asked.
"Just go with the flow and act along," Kiyoshi said to him. His stare was domineering and piercing. Objection was not even an option.
"I will kill him myself if he does not behave,"
With it, Xin just gulped his bitterness and moved along. His cuffs were destroyed but in turn, he was grabbed on the head and smashed on the floor.
Bang!
"We are to serve humanity as long as we can!" Kiyoshi shouted while also bowing together with him.
"Good! Now his execution will be put on hold while he serves as a student! Serve well and we will even be gracious to you." the elder said.
"Yes! Of course grand elders!" Kiyoshi replied.
It was a bit blurry but Xin's mind went blank for a moment. With just a gust of the wind, he woke up on the shoulders of Kiyoshi who was carrying him.
"Awake now? Walk by yourself. You are too heavy," he said to him.
"Oh I see, thanks," Xin said then stood up straight.
"Well, Xin, you survived your execution. Let me give a toast to your second chance in life. By the way, let us see the Martial Artist Fantasy Academy where there were more like you. Someone with a class." he said and they saw the training grounds.
Xin was amazed to see more exorcists practicing on the grounds. They were all regulating their mana which was seen by the naked eye. All covering their bodies or their weapons. Xin was excited to spar with anyone, though Drey dragged him along towards the top of the mountain. They walked past the Tori and the stairs that went upwards the school gate.
"Kiyoshi, are you stronger than the Dark lord?" Rein asked.
"Yes,"
"How?"
"Because he can't touch me," Kiyoshi mused then chuckled.
"Hmmm, like ethereal? or a barrier?" Xin asked curiously.
"Both, Specifically a Spatial technique, that is in control of both time and space. I can even rewind the time a bit for me. I am also dual class as I am a Telekinetic and Spatial class," he said to him.
Xin was dumbstruck. But he realized one thing. He did not know of someone like him in the past. Or someone that strong. Kiyoshi here was just hiding in plain sight?
"Why did you let yourself get slashed by the way?" Xin asked
"Slashed? He did not even grazed my back...just my clothes." He said to him, making Xin impressed. "I can stop his attacks by a Telekinesis or become ethereal by spatial or teleport."
Anyway, this part of his life was different from what happened before as he gained a class and that class was his ticket here to enter the Martial Arts Fantasy Academy.
"Ey Xin, you are under me and we will meet your team mates." Kiyoshi said to him.
"Yes, Sir Kiyoshi!" Xin said in a snappy voice.
"Call me master,"
"Yes, master!"
It was then, that they arrived at the gate and it was already opened.
"Welcome to the Martial Arts Academy!" Kiyoshi patted his back.
Xin saw the tall buildings that were there in the mountains. They were made of wooden designs as the owner of the school preferred old and traditional styles. Also, it was dated since medieval times and was maintained.
"Yeah, a wonder that was in front of you. Don't worry, you are not the only one," he then patted his back and they went inside their room.
With it, they entered the room and saw Renji sitting on the table. "Hey! Why are you here?" He shouted.
"Welcome your teammates, we will be a family from now on." He saw Renji and the top scorer physique and Martial Growth, Anna Endelbert. She awakened a Brawler class. Her frame was curvy and has deep crush on Renji. Someone who has cool and spiky hair with calm and edgy demeanor. He used a blue shirt with bandage on his arms. Xin on the contrary has weights that were bulky on his arms and legs.
"Hey weakling, nice to meet you." Renji gave his hands and they shook each others.
"Nice to meet you too, I am Xin!" Xin said to them.
"I am Anna! And we are the new Team 14!" She shouted at them.
