The three have met and they were the team 14. Having seen Anna, she was a short girl that has a ponytail tied on her hair. Renji was silent and was just putting his hands on his pockets. They sat on the chairs and Kiyoshi finally said his instructions.
"We will have newbie exams that will be held few days from now on. Everyone should discover each strengths and weaknesses. As well as your skills. You all need to be familiar with your skills." Kiyoshi said to them. "As for me, I can teleport and stop movements of the enemy."
Xin then was in thought, he should become familiar with his strengths and weaknesses. In his research and knowledge in the past, a necromancer's strength was in his summons. But he should be careful as he could get in trouble when enemies slip past the defenders.
So it all leads to how to minimize his weakness. He did not know much in the class he has but he knew that it also has defensive capabilities. Mitigating his weakness by a bit. Also, he has offensive spells too in which he could use if he wanted to be a damage dealer of the team. Though Renji could do it instead if he wanted to.
Xin got his father's grimoire so he was good to go. He felt sorry as he does not have much to help him. As for Anna and Renji, he has numerous. But they needed to pass the newbie exams first to master higher tier skills. They had to deal with their current skill pages first and master them to full mastery.
As for Xin, he would learn the skill pages himself. And he saw that he was given the Necromancer grimoire. He would master them in the meantime. They were the: bone armor, summon skeleton, bone shield, soul fire, soul abyss, and soul collect. All were potential skills that would be put to use.
Anna was given Hard fist technique and Gentle fist technique as well as the Speed up skill. As for Renji, he was given Fire breath and Lightning body. As well as the Ice Aura.
Xin then left them and they said their goodbyes. He was eager and excited to learn and practice his skills. As for the other skills, he would be in search for them.
With it, he immediately practiced his skills. He immediately went to his dorm which was silent and lonesome. He has a small training area in the backyard that he was using to practice his martial arts.
Immediately, he cooked noodles and ate with chopsticks and immediately put his bowl into the sink. With it, he dressed up into his training wear and then went to the backyard.
He breathed in and saw the skill page and then read it. With it, it says that he has to use mana and shout the skill out loud. He shouted and used bone armor and he saw bones from the ground appeared and he was covered with bones.
It says that it could mitigate physical and magical damage up to small to medium intensity and would last till 1 minute.
Next was the summon skeleton. This skill needs to use mana and summon a skeleton. The skeleton mimics his martial arts and relies on the summoner when it comes to it's combat style.
He summoned one and bones gathered from the ground and combined till it made a skeleton. He saw that it was looking at him with bright blue eyes and has a one handed sword.
To test the validity of the battle style mimicry, he sparred with it. To his surprise, he was panting and the skeleton was not even having a problem coping up with him. In his thoughts, it does not need stamina to tire out. What impressive thing to have for his summons! "This is good news!"
He immediately rested and was coughing. With it, he saw the last skill which was soul collect. Its use was to collect souls of the dead and imprison them into his soul abyss. He immediately knew its purpose and so he immediately planned to find the disciples of his father Shen.
He then went to the library and asked the Librarian of the Library. The Librarian was a middle aged man that has an eyeglasses. He told that he was given permission by sir Kiyoshi to excavate the remaining knowledge of the Necromancers. To his bad luck, nothing was left behind but was only a single book.
And so, he went to the deepest parts of the library with the Librarian. He was lighting up the way with his candlelight spell. Then they arrived after several turns on the shelves and Xin was lost for a moment where they made twists and turns.
"The book was hidden within the deepest part and needs my key to open the book lock. We need to be careful not to open it without the key or else it would explode." The Librarian instructed him
"Ah I see, thanks." Xin replied.
They saw the place where it was hidden and it has a lock placed on top of it. The Librarian opened it and then gave him the book. Xin said his thanks and then read it in the reading table in the library. He needed to seek the tombs of the necromancers. He saw a picture of necromancers and a map was hidden within it's pages. He immediately saw that the tombs were long forgotten through time and their souls were still in unrest.
He immediately knew where they were and planned to visit them one by one. To his surprise, his father's disciples were were not sealed by the Emperors and they has the possibility that they were now spirits. He should visit them all. To think of it, he was delighted that they were not sealed. To have a master to his class Awakening was rare and so he was blessed knowing it that he has a good news finally.
