Frozen to the bones at what Xander had just told her, even as he continued walking like it was nothing, she followed behind him like a zombie.
Dazed, worried, and confused.
She didn't particularly like Sullivan. He had been simply mean to her.
She just thought that since he was always around the boss, it at least meant they had a deeper connection.
How he could just kill him so effortlessly was deeply disturbing.
But even as those thoughts clouded her mind, she saw once again how much of a hypocrite she was being.
"Regardless of how much you try to distance yourself from this shit, you're still the daughter of a gangster," she told herself in her mind.
The dark path began to gnaw at her heart, freezing her more than she already was.
Xander felt her body behind him, and he chuckled internally.
She was scared, and it amazed him, because he didn't think she was capable of being scared.
