Odelia's eyes were closed, but she could faintly hear the voices of people around her; she felt her strength leaving her and her body becoming weaker and weaker. She began to panic. Had she acted impulsively? Was she going to die just like that? What even came over her?
Seeing James in such a precarious situation, she felt as if she couldn't let him die; the thought of something happening to him painfully squeezed her heart. But why would she feel that way?
