People around the world heard rapid, distant bangs, barely catching a glimpse of a red blur streaking across the sky.
Some people who heard these bangs a distance away approaching them pulled out their phones, capturing the brief flash of red with excitement and confusion.
Later, they would slow down the footage, but all they could see was a blurred streak, leaving the event an unsolved mystery
David's heart raced as he soared across continents in seconds, marvelling at ancient ruins, dense jungles, and sprawling cities—all in a breath taking blur.
He saw places he had never seen before, witnessed sights most people would spend years travelling to see, yet he saw them all in one minute.
Everything was clear to his eyes, his brain was fast enough to process it all, it was like he was actually there witnessing it all happen with perfect clarity.
The sounds coming from these locations, added to his experience.
When the minute was over, David flew up into space, flying as fast he could.
He wanted to see just how long he could survive in space.
On the way, he took a extremely huge breath seemingly sucking away a lot of oxygen from the height he was at.
Within three minutes, David was already flying past the moon.
As he passed the moon, a shimmering dome caught his eye—a hidden city thriving on the lunar surface.
"The Inhumans, They exist!" David thought to himself As he began slowing down.
Inside, he saw towering structures, tiered like a pyramid, where the privileged lounged above, while others mined the moon's depths for resources
With the confirmation of the existence of the Inhumans David kept flying, he didn't stop as he was currently testing how long he could hold his breath.
He flew for about an hour before he turned back
He felt like he could go for many hours more but decided to head back.
He entered the Earth's atmosphere and took a large gasps of air.
When David was initially flying he had noticed, Dr. Drake in the Arctic around the location of Captain.
So David flew towards the Arctic, in less then 20 seconds he had already arrived over the Arctic.
David wondered if Drake had somehow managed to discover Steve in the ice.
Dr. Drake was currently sitting In a tent he had built, simply waiting for David.
Suddenly his sensors blared.
Standing off the couch Drake rushed to his computer as a video feed had opened up.
it showed a recording of Superman Floating over the Arctic
Drake watched quietly as he mentally prepared himself.
Superman was coming his way, his gamble had paid off but from now on, it was all on him.
Throwing on a coat and scarf to protect himself from the cold temperatures of the Arctic, Drake stepped out of his two story tent.
Climbing down the stairs he began walking a little distance away from it.
David at this time landed in front of Drake.
The icy wasteland stretched endlessly under David's feet, a brutal expanse where few dared to tread.
Yet all alone, Dr. Drake waited, his equipment buzzing in the background.
"Superman.... it's nice to meet you" Drake said seriously.
He felt extremely intimidated at this time.
Staring at Superman face to face a being who seemed completely uninjured after the bombardment he had suffered a few hours ago.
It was no doubt fair that he felt intimidated.
"Dr. Drake, a world-renowned biologist, it's a pleasure to meet you" David said with a smile.
"Well, I am here to talk about my research rocket that was crashing and you saved..." Drake was about to continue but David stopped him already knowing what Drake wanted.
"I am the one that took the research subject you were studying" David admitted.
"I want my research back," Drake replied, his voice barely concealing his tension. "I lost my team for this project and all data seemed to have been wiped out." Drake attempted to make his case but David was unbothered by what Drake had to say.
Drake was a Villain through and through, Ambition blinded him of the harm he was causing to people in the pursuit of his goals.
"so?" David asked.
"So, I only hope to get back only one of them for research.
I know there were four symbiotes in total.
Before the accident that took my researchers lives, they sent me a message. Informing me about this" Drake said
"Unfortunately, I only got one" David lied looking a little bored when he suddenly had an idea and a shrewd smile appeared in David's face.
With a thought the symbiote battle suit he had on began to pulse and move and began transforming into a normal suit.
Suddenly a tendril extended out of David's back and stabbed into the ice and pulling out a huge chunk of Ice.
Drake's eyes dazzled with stars as he watched this magical sight occur.
"I will give you a part of the symbiote I have and you can research it, only on the condition that you create more" David said.
"Create more?.." Drake asked confused.
"Yes" David said as he began explaining the basic method of creating more symbiotes, preaching the method shown within the movies to Drake.
"So?" David asked, questioning if Drake agrees.
"I agree!" Drake exclaimed.
"Are you seriously giving him that?" Venom's voice growled in David's head, dripping with disdain. "He's barely smart enough to handle his own tech" Venom said.
"More symbiotes mean more for you to devour," David replied mentally, a grin tugging at his lips. "Think of it as a feast waiting to happen, a free upgrade in powers"
"Ohh, I see" Venom started laughing loudly as it stared at Drake who was standing there like a valve person in Venoms eyes.
When Venom calmed down a little a question appeared in its mind.
"Why not do this yourself?"
"I am a fighter not a researcher Venom" David responded.
"A fighter, not a researcher? That's the worst excuse I've ever heard," Venom muttered feeling a little dissatisfied at not getting a proper answer, but David ignored him, already focused on Drake.
Extending his hand out A thick, black liquid oozed from David's suit, forming a writhing ball in his hand.
Drake's eyes sparkled, almost entranced, as the symbiote pulsed in David's palm
"Here it is take it" David said.
"Give me a minute" Drake said as he quickly began running towards his tent, probably to retrieve a container.
"Remember, Doctor," David said, voice low, "If you create more, I'll be back to collect them. Make sure you don't keep anything... interesting from me." David concluded causing a chill to go down Drake's spine
