Haruka climbed onto the deck of the container ship, his Amazon Omega armor gleaming in the dim light. He scanned the area, his enhanced senses picking up the movement of the Black Cobra gang members surrounding him.
Without warning, the men opened fire, a hail of bullets streaking towards Haruka. His reflexes heightened, he leapt into action, his movements a blur as he dodged the incoming projectiles. The cracks of gunfire echoed across the deck, but Haruka remained undaunted, his focus laser-sharp.
Surging forward, Haruka lashed out with his clawed gauntlets, slashing and striking with precision. The gang members, overwhelmed by his speed and strength, struggled to mount an effective defense. Haruka's fists collided with their bodies, sending them reeling, their weapons clattering to the ground.
A burly thug charged at Haruka, swinging a metal pipe with brute force. Haruka sidestepped the attack, his hand snapping out to grip the pipe. With a swift twist, he wrenched it from the man's grasp and used it to strike him in the abdomen, doubling him over in pain.
Haruka pressed on, his primal instincts fueling his movements. He lashed out with a series of powerful blows, his Amazon Omega armor shielding him from the sporadic gunfire. The gang members, realizing the futility of their assault, began to scatter, their panic evident in their frantic retreat.
Haruka caught sight of a man attempting to flee, and with a powerful leap, he landed in front of the would-be escapee. The man skidded to a halt, his eyes wide with fear as Haruka towered over him.
"Where's Snake Head?" Haruka demanded, his voice distorted by the helmet's modulator.
The man, trembling, stammered a response. "H-He's in the cargo hold, trying to get away!"
Haruka nodded, his gaze unwavering. "Thank you."
Haruka knocked out the trembling man and hurried towards the cargo hold, his footsteps echoing across the metal deck. As he approached the entrance, he heard the faint sounds of distress coming from within.
Carefully, Haruka peered around the corner, his eyes narrowing behind the Amazon Omega helmet. There, in the dimly lit cargo hold, stood Snake Head, the ruthless leader of the Black Cobra gang. Haruka's gaze shifted to the woman being held at gunpoint in Snake Head's grasp, her eyes filled with terror.
"Don't move, Kamen Rider," Snake Head growled, his grip tightening on the hostage. "Or I'll blow her brains out."
Haruka's muscles tensed, his heart pounding in his chest. He couldn't risk the woman's life, not when he had the chance to save her and the other trafficked women behind Snake Head.
"Let them go," Haruka demanded, his voice distorted by the helmet's modulator. "This ends now."
Snake Head chuckled darkly. "Oh, I don't think so, Kamen Rider. You see, these women are worth a lot of money to me. And I'm not about to let you ruin my plans." He paused, his eyes narrowing. "So here's what's going to happen: you're going to walk away, and I'm going to take these lovely ladies with me. If you try to stop me, well..." He pressed the gun harder against the hostage's temple, making her whimper in fear.
Haruka felt his muscles tense, his instincts urging him to act. But he couldn't risk the woman's life. He couldn't let Snake Head escape, either. The weight of the decision hung heavily on his shoulders.
"I'm waiting, Kamen Rider," Snake Head taunted. "Time's running out. What's it going to be?"
Haruka's muscles tensed, his heart pounding as Snake Head pressed the gun harder against the hostage's temple. "Not going? In that case, this woman's blood is in your hands," the villain growled, his grip tightening around the woman's neck.
The woman let out a terrified scream, her eyes wide with fear. But before Snake Head could pull the trigger, a Takocandroid appeared from the shadows, its tentacles lashing out and diverting the gun just in time. Snake Head's eyes widened in shock at the sight of the mechanical creature.
Suddenly, the Takocandroid sprayed a thick, black ink, blinding the villain and causing him to jerk the gun away from the hostage's head. The bullet fired, but the Candroid's quick intervention had diverted the shot, saving the woman's life.
Snake Head stumbled backward, cursing as he tried to wipe the ink from his eyes. The woman, freed from his grasp, scrambled away, her body trembling with relief.
Haruka seized the opportunity and twisted the Amazon Driver's left handle.
[Violent Punish]
Haruka's claws elongated to a frightening degree, becoming razor-sharp. In a blur of motion, he lashed out, slicing off the arm that Snake Head used to hold the gun. Snake Head's scream of pain echoed through the cargo hold as he staggered backward, clutching the bloody stump where his limb had been.
"Argh! You bastard!" Snake Head howled, his face twisted in agony.
The woman who had been held hostage watched in horrified fascination, her hands covering her mouth to stifle a scream. She shrank back against the wall, her eyes wide with terror.
Haruka approached the writhing Snake Head, who lay on the floor clutching the bloody stump where his arm had been. The ruthless gang leader's face was twisted in agony, his eyes squeezed shut as he desperately tried to stem the flow of blood.
"It's over, Snake Head," Haruka said, his voice distorted by the Amazon Omega helmet. He stood over the fallen man, his clawed gauntlets stained with his enemy's blood.
Snake Head's eyes snapped open, wild with panic. "No, you can't do this to me! I'm the boss, the king of this city!" he screamed, his words punctuated by ragged gasps.
Haruka looked down at the fallen Snake Head, his claws still dripping with the man's blood. "You'll spend a long time in jail for your crimes," he said, his voice distorted by the Amazon Omega helmet.
Without another word, Haruka raised his fist and brought it down hard, striking Snake Head's face with a powerful blow. The gang leader's eyes rolled back, and he slumped to the ground, unconscious. The woman who had been held hostage watched in stunned silence, her hands trembling.
Haruka turned to her, his posture relaxed. "You're safe now," he said, his tone reassuring. He quickly surveyed the cargo hold, ensuring there were no other threats.
…
An hour later, the container ship was docked at the harbor where it had departed. The police were already on the docks, responding to the commotion from Haruka's earlier confrontation with the Black Cobra gang in the warehouse.
From his vantage point on a nearby perch, Haruka watched as the trafficked women on board were carefully escorted off the ship by the authorities. The women, some visibly shaken, were ushered into waiting ambulances and police vehicles. Haruka let out a soft sigh, relieved that they were now safe.
Below, the Black Cobra members, including the wounded Snake Head, were being apprehended and placed in handcuffs by the officers. Snake Head, his severed arm bandaged, cursed and struggled against the restraints, his face contorted with rage.
"This isn't over, you bastards!" he snarled, spitting at the nearest officer. "The Black Cobra will rise again, and when it does, I'll make sure you all pay!"
The officer merely shook his head, unperturbed by Snake Head's outburst, and continued to secure the gang leader. Haruka observed the scene, his expression unreadable behind the Amazon Omega mask.
Kara Danvers stood among the crowd of onlookers, her eyes scanning the area intently. She had been drawn to the commotion, her curiosity piqued by the news of the Kamen Rider's confrontation with the Black Cobra gang. As the police continued their work, Kara's gaze settled on the rooftop where Haruka was perched. Her enhanced vision allowed her to see him clearly.
"Kamen Rider," she murmured, her brow furrowed in thought. "I wonder who you are..."
Nearby, a news crew had set up, their cameras capturing the aftermath of the incident. A reporter, microphone in hand, approached one of the officers.
"Excuse me, Officer," the reporter said, her voice carrying a sense of urgency. "Can you tell us what happened here? We've been hearing reports of a vigilante known as the Kamen Rider being involved in this operation."
The officer, a seasoned veteran, paused for a moment before responding. "I can confirm that the Kamen Rider was present and instrumental in disrupting the Black Cobra gang's human trafficking operation. He apprehended several of the gang members and secured the release of the captives."
The reporter's eyes widened, and she quickly followed up with another question. "And what of the Kamen Rider himself? Where is he now?"
The officer shook his head. "I'm afraid we don't know where he is, but if he is listening. I wish to thank him."
Satisfied with the response, the reporter turned to the camera, her expression determined. "There you have it, folks. The mysterious Kamen Rider has struck again, and the city of National City is left to wonder about the identity of this enigmatic hero."
Haruka observes the scene from his perch, a sense of pride washing over him. He takes one last look before turning and making his way home.
