Aethon makes another revisit to the Council's Archives on request from Vexar to retrieve the map of the forbidden Etheron Forest, the first place with clues tied towards the orb, After a long hopeless search, Kaelin found a hidden door leading to an underground basement, it was too small of a room for an official Council Room but it was significantly stocked with ancient books of hidden treasures. At last he found it, The map of the Etheron Forest. "Hey, you." a voice from behind yelled, "what are you doing here", Kaelin instantly wielded his wands and created an ice shard to obscure the gaurds while he used his conjuration magic to summon a phoenix, he broke out of the basement, fulfilling his intention. As he was flying out, the gaurds destroyed the ice sage and spotted the phoenix, "He's a Sage".
Kaelin finally packed up from his isolated cabin began his quest out of Elum and into the Etherons. As he approached the entrance of the forest, A huge fog ensued covering all paths into the forest, however, as Kaelin kept moving, he saw a lit up inscription on the map 'show me the path you thread', he pointed the map at the fog and the path into the forest lit up instantly, He crept deeper into the Forest and the deeper he got the dimmer the lit up path grew, finally, he got to a pit stop when the light on the path vanished completely, He created a burning flame on his wrist to further navigate. Feeling hopeless and stranded, Kaelin began to question himself as to why he retook his quest, and alas at the last moment, a Lyrax was automatically summoned when it sensed that Kaelin was a Sage, A Lyrax is a magical navigation beast that is auto summoned for sages when they are in mystic locations.
The Lyrax began moving towards the northward direction, Due to the fog, Kaelin kept following then realized the beast was leading him out of the forest, he saw the light on the path begin to light back up pointing in his opposing direction, "Should I just give up?" he questioned himself. He dismissed the beast and kept through the lit up path, now was not the time for self doubt, continuously moving forward, he finally approached the end of the path again, but this time there was a large door smashed at the end of the path. He walked in and there were a mass of ancient scribblings on the walls and floors, All unknown to him except one that was written in English, "THE ORBS AWAKENING SHALL HERALD THE DEVOURERS RETURN", in an instant the smashed door rearranged and shut itself, then Kailen sensed a strong presence, not that of a magic user, but that of a conjurated beast.
