In the dark tomb of a fallen Olive hero, a luminescent light was brightly shining over the cave through a cross pendant. Its pale white rays spreading across the tomb, illuminating the battered remains of a legend of Herculean strength.
It was written in the old manuscripts that Samson perished along with thousands upon thousands of his enemies.
Bound and blinded, the legendary figure was summoned from prison to entertain his captors.
But the crafty prisoner had a devious plan. It seemed he had learnt from the most manipulative and cunning person Oakland had to offer, Delilah!
After shamefully performing for his enemies, Samson deceived one of the servants to lead him to the central pillars supporting the temple.
Oblivious to the cunning of the legendary warrior, the servant merrily led him to the two pillars and helped him brace himself against them with one hand on one pillar and another hand on the other pillar.
Digging deep within his core strength, Samson pushed the two pillars with all his might but just like the boulder, the pillars didn't budge. They held the temple secure in their stone arms.
All the while, a commotion was stirring up in the temple and all the attention was focusing upon the legendary hero of Olive as he was struggling to push the pillars. The jubilant crowds were seemingly more entertained than when Samson performed for them earlier, their wide smiles spreading from ear to ear.
"What is this fellow doing?" They sneered as hysterical chuckles reverberated through the crowd.
"He is just a shadow of his former self, Delilah made sure of it." Another said with a grin spreading across her face.
"It's crazy that it took a woman to save us from one of the worst monsters to ever terrorize us since our kingdom was established."
Delilah was of Oakland descent, but somehow in the bitter and bloody war between the two kingdoms, they found love in each other or so Samson had thought.
In a twist of fate, the guileful and deceptive woman, manipulated Samson to tell her the source of his power.
"How can you say you love when you can't confide in me?" She said in a honeyed voice.
Upon hearing that, the love stricken warrior revealed everything like he had diarrhea of the mouth.
He divulged to her that the super human strength he possessed was rooted in his hair and immediately, Delilah devised a plan. He made the renowned warrior sleep on her lap like an attention loving overgrown baby and as he was deep asleep, she cut off the source of his powers with a razor. His hair.
In the next moment, his super human strength left him and he became weak as any man.
The next morning as Samson woke up, he found himself surrounded by Oaklanders.
Weak and feeble, the men easily subdued the bald warrior and gouged out his eyes.
Love is indeed blind.
Now here he was, bound with bronze shackles and blind in both eyes.
I'm sure he would advise someone to never trust a friend who is also friends with their enemies.
Delilah would surely say keep your friends close and your enemies closer.
In any case, Samson was bound and blinded, but his hair had grown back so he believed his strands of hair would give him just enough strength to cave in the temple and die along with his enemies.
It was more like when Kodesh went to the sacred mountain of Zion hoping to take the relentless pursuers with him to the grave.
As Samson pushed the pillars with all his strength, the loud chuckles were suddenly replaced by gasps of fear as the pillars suddenly began tremble. They quivered even more, shuddering more violently by the passing second.
In the next moment the loud gasps were replaced by a wild and chaotic cacophony of screams and collapsing structures. The pillars had succumbed to the pressure of the legendary warrior of Herculean strength and immediately the load-bearing elements failed to support the whole temple and down it fell on itself, killing and burying three thousand people.
In that time of despair and desperation, he managed to take his enemies with him to the grave, killing more of his enemies on that occasion than he had his entire life.
Suddenly realizing how much time he had lost pondering about the tragic love story of Samson and Delilah, Kodesh quickly paid his respects as tears were trickling down his face.
Wiping away tears with the back of his hand, he went on his knees and caressed the hand of Samson, surprised by the intact legendary remains. They were not as battered as he had initially thought.
Immediately as he touched the hands of Samson, a pure white otherworldly light glowed around the remains of Samson and a cold soothing breeze swirled around him, making his face tingle. His impartation aspect had activated.
All the while, the pure white light grew more intense and brilliant as it flowed towards the hands of Kodesh.
In the next moment, the brilliant white light, flowed through his hands, all the way to his shoulders and cascaded throughout his entire body, enhancing cells, tissues, muscles, bones, fibers, nerves and everything in between.
He could feel a sudden rush of unbelievable strength channeling through his body and suddenly his weighty hand became less and less heavy. Well it wasn't really decreasing in weight, his body was just leveling up the imbalance
As soon as the white light had engulfed every part of his body, even his clothes glowed with intense white light but his hair glowed even more intense. Its light was a shade of otherworldly whitish hue, radiating brilliantly.. almost blindingly bright.
A few moments later, the breeze dissipated and Samson's remains dimmed. Immediately a soft voice echoed in the tomb.
"Your core grows stronger."
And as if that wasn't enough, the soft voice reverberated again.
"You have received a new ability."
