Chapter 1: The agreement
*sigh*
"This world is the same, boring and repetitive, everything is following a pattern. Nothing, no freaking thing ever changes!"
"From the time you're born up to when you die, it's the same old."
" You wake up in the morning, take your bath, have breakfast, do your chores, go to school, endure bullies and annoying freaks, get a crush occasionally, write your tests, fail or pass your tests, get promoted, demoted or stay in the same class, go back home, have your lunch/dinner, read and prepare for another day of school."
"Of course, you get the usual yells from your mum, talks about life from your dad, taunts and sneers from your siblings, smiles from your neighborly neighbors, get stalked by the freak in your street who's interested in you but is too shy to come out."
"The repetition of the same things."
"When you're finally done with school, it's the same thing. Go to work, come back home, have an annoying or nice boss, fall in love with a colleague, then realize you're not meant for each other, get married to a nice girl or be unlucky with marriage and not get married at all, have kids or have pets. It's the same thing over and over again."
"Sure, there are particular days in a year for special events, but they still are repetitive. "
"Now, the only thing that's never truly the same is food. Food never tastes the same, so it's the one thing I'm always looking forward to."
A boy with pitch black hair in braids could be seen mumbling to himself as he closed the book he was reading.
He was only eight years old, yet he had gotten tired of the cycle.
He lay on his bed and slept immediately.
He opened his eyes and saw himself in a dark room.
"I must be having a dream" He thought to himself.
He began walking in the dark room and after walking a while, he scratched his head in confusion as he hadn't seen anything.
"Now, this is just plain boring." He said with a sigh.
"What's the point of having a dream if I'm just going to be stuck in this dark room?"
He continued walking in the dark room,he knew he wasn't going in circles because he could feel himself walking forward. Eventually, he came out of the dark room and found himself in a dimly lit room.
A man was sitting lazily on a king sized chair. It looked like a massive throne, and when he looked at his face, there was one thing that struck him; beauty. The man was beautiful.
He had long black hair that flowed down to his back, his eyes were bright red and they stared at him with a spark in them.
His lips looked soft and oddly, it was purple.
He had the body figure of an athlete, not to muscular, but muscular enough to make women drool.
He was garbed in a black robe that looked like it was barely hanging on, his chest was visible and he was ripped.
He wore a sinister smile on his face and finally spoke.
"I never expected a human to get this far." He said with interest.
"Oh my world!" He screamed inside. "Am I really simping on someone who is like fifteen years older than I am, and a guy for that? "
He took a deep breath and walked closer to the man.
"You have guts boy. When you got to the black room, I thought you were just going to sit and wait till something or someone comes."
He moved closer and steadied his breath."Are you the one who brought me here?"
The man put his hands on his chin and raised a brow." You really are not scared. Interesting."
In an instant, he was in the boys front and images of all the horrors and nightmares a human had ever faced was showed to him.
He returned to his chair, fully expecting the boy to be shaking and in tears but , the boy stood still, not even changing his expression.
The boy sighed and put his hands in his pocket before speaking. "What do you want, old man?"
"Old man!" He stood up abruptly from his throne. "No one has ever and you dare!" He boomed, sounding furious and scary.
The boy put his pinkie in his ear and appeared to be cleaning it, "How extremely immature." He brought out his hands from his pocket and began to wage it in a circular motion for a really long time.
The man furrowed his brows in confusion but still continued with the menacing voice, "Do you know whom you stand before?"
"I couldnt be bothered, old man."
"Cocky, are we? I wonder how you'll react when you die." He said with a smirk.
"Uh,die. Wait, what…?" He couldn't complete his sentence because he felt himself becoming weak, his breath became shallow, his head was spinning, and he could feel his heart beating faster than it was supposed to,the force made him stagger and blood was running down his nose and ears. He gave a smile in the man's direction and died.
"What sort of monster is that boy? Even with him dying, he still wasn't fazed." His face lit up with a smile. "He will be the one I shall choose."
He snapped his fingers and the boy stood up with a gasp. He didnt have a look of dread or anything, instead, he was smiling. The man shivered, "what sort of human is this?" He questioned hi himself.
"Now, that you are done with the games, what do you want from me?" The boy asked with a serious face.
"Okay, so you figured that out but first things first", he paused, "dont you think I'm beautiful? I used my charm on you but it didnt work."
The boy scratched his head and appeared to be in thought but he soon opened his mouth. "Its simple, really." He pointed out with a shrug. "All you have to do is constantly remind yourself not to be a simp. But,just for the record, you really are beautiful." He added with a wink.
